What travellers are saying
- Thomas VOakland, CA16,858 contributionsOne of the most delightful features of our walk around the center of town, this is a big flower market offering some of the best of the Cote D'Azur products. We were not staying long so a purchase was not wise, but we loved to look. The prices are very reasonable.Written February 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Thomas VOakland, CA16,858 contributionsWe needed some things for our stay in town, so we came here and were satisfied with the selection of stores, the usual French ones. It's a big indoor shopping center, near the center, and served by public transit.Written February 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas VOakland, CA16,858 contributionsYou can find this big French department store in most of the major cities in France and in a few other European places. It was a pleasure to shop here as there were staff to help us look over various products. Good place to buy clothes. And they have a very good food market.Written February 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Heli PHelsinki, Finland6,406 contributionsThe antique market has turned more into vintage concentrating mainly on costume jewellery, leather bags, silk scarves and household items from the latter half of 20th century making the prices also more affordable. Linen tableclothes and sheets can be found in abundance but the selection of vintage costumes is quite poor, mainly polyester and not actually old. Real antique collectors items, porcelain, silver, gold jewellery, paintings are also sold here but well informed customers don't anymore buy expensive pieces so easily.Written August 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas VOakland, CA16,858 contributionsI think it is always fun to visit the local outdoor markets and this is a big one, a major market for the city in a wide open square and toward the center. You don't have to buy anything, just admire the display.Written February 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Roar MaagaardAarhus, Denmark821 contributionsThis place has reopened for food service in July 2023. We know the street food concept from other places. You have to order your food and drink from central screens - and you then have to present the coupons to the different stalls in the big central hall. Nice place - but food quality is low and with so many more interestng places to eat in Nice I do not know why you should go here?Written July 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Caroline BZurich, Switzerland5 contributionsFabulous workshop learning about the wonderful scents and getting to select those we liked and mix our own perfume. Brilliant activity for groups of friends/family and very affordable. Would 100% recommend and super to leave with your bespoke scent.Written January 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pavlina G1 contributionWow,Absolutely amazing gallery. I have never been so impressed by any gallery like this one. Wide range of different art work available. Everyone can find something to fell in love with here. My daughter, who studies art, found this place very inspiring.Written February 18, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AMsaysThornhill, Canada4,121 contributionsNear the port in a scraggly building is this collection of individual antique shops. There was an eclectic cross section of pieces that included metal art, mosaics, paintings, bronzed art, pottery, furnishings, fixtures and so much more. Nothing stood out more than anything else. After you walked through you realized it's a little more of the same... The best part for me was the immense tree growing through the roof, mere metres from the entrance. - mttaylor9Baltimore, MD892 contributionsBeautiful beach along the promenade but its very rocky. These are not sand beaches so be prepared with beach shoes.

Located right in the middle of the city, all pieces have been carefully selected - a must see!Written June 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sherly SLos Angeles, CA16 contributionsWas told to visit this city/area for antiques as there are many antique stores with great quality and prices. We luckily walked into La Legende where I purchased 2 Bacarra Chandelabras and a 100 year old antique Bacarra Whisky serving set. Christiane Belardinelli, the owner, was very honest with pointing out any damages on any items, or any items that were not as high quality as another (within her own store!) She gave us an AMAZING deal (I've been pricing around since then and am very grateful of her prices), followed up with several e-mails and even called the US post office to find out why our item was being held in MY LOCAL post office! (I found out my post office wanted me to pick the items up due to their weight). Her shipment was punctual, VERY well packaged (I had very very delicate crystals and NOTHING broke!), and she didn't even charge me for the delivery. I will continue to order from her through the internet as I have COMPLETE trust in her. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking to buy antiques in France (it is definitely worth the time spent)!Written September 26, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jonid1802St. Petersburg, FL1 contributionI love this gallery. It is kind of tucked away from the big tourist crush, so it is always really relaxing to visit. Mike always has something new on display so it always feels fresh. I think his work is really charming and intend to finally buy a piece for my home next time I am in Nice. But, he is always welcoming and it is always worth a visit. The work is calming and charming and too frankly in your face. Just like Mike, a charming experience. I like his gallery parties, fun and friendly affairs. Be sure and check in to see what is going on if you are in Nice.Written March 17, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
