This honey specialist shop in the St. Jean district of Vieux or Old Lyon, features a wide variety of first-rate honey in different sizes and at a reasonable price point. Furthermore, excellent advice is available from the friendly staff. It is also a place to learn more about honey. We learned that our fave 'bruyere' (a type of heather) comes in 3 seasonal flavours, with autumnal 'callune' being the most sought-after. The shop is clean, modern and well-presented. I am done. I highly recommend a visit here, even if you do not purchase anything, to see the silkworms hard at work. He speaks English and will guide you through every single aspect of cheese. This was part of our FOOD TOUR in Lyon and this was my favorite stop by far. He has about 75 cheeses ready to go in the shop, double that for the holiday season.
