Really appreciated the free reservation formula, by the end of the tour it will be a pleasure to reward the guide for the experience.

We had the opportunity to make various dishes with Joelle. The starter dish was a cheese pastry dough twist. The other dishes include potatoes, shallots, butter covered in French cheese, and cooked in the oven for 1.5 hours. Another dish include pork loin soaked in a cheese and herbed sauce. After lunch, we had chocolate soufflé and various cheeses.
Joelle took us for a nice walk at an open air food market selling meat, cheese, seafood, bread and vegetables and fruit.

Splendid display of local items such as cheeses, meats, canned fruits, etc, the list goes on. Good place to sit at a cafe and indulge in a morning espresso or latte. Easy place to find especially if taking the local transportation. Buses stop right in front and the price of transportation is a deal, 1.95 Euro. Might suggest you get off at the Hotel De Ville (city hall). There you can have another coffee at one of the many cafes around the plaza in front of the Hotel de Ville. - TravelQueen6 contributionsWe did this in early december, our first Questo ever! We started just after 4pm, it got dark quickly and the atmosphere was set for the ghost hunt! We did several walking tours in Lyon, this one was by far the best from the way it was organized around the story line! Only time we had to google something to get the answer was due to darkness and the stone being wet, we couldn't read what kind of memorial it was. - Phoebe M2 contributionsThis was such a wonderful tour. It was such a lovely combination of little snacks, culture and history of Lyon. I'd never thought about it before but so much history and culture and be taught through food so this really was a wonderful combination.
The food was all wonderful! We had a light lunch beforehand as we had read other reviews indicating it was more snacky than full meal style food tour and this was perfect.
Our guide Nathalie was excellent! She walked us through all of the tastings with fantastic expertise and wove it all into the story of Lyon wonderfully. Absolutely loved it.
