- patrickCrest, France32 contributionsNew Years concert of music on Broadway. Lots of stairs and acoustics were not good on the 5th level. Music was good and the bar on the ground floor was atmosphericWritten January 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SVB108Sheffield, UK24 contributionsMy partner and I enjoyed a performance of Nuit Funèbre performed here as part of the Festival de l'Opéra de Lyon. What a beautiful theatre, with an intimate atmosphere, good accoustics and friendly, helpful staff.Written March 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Terry MHamilton, Canada4,921 contributionsSpeaking limited French I did not expect to understand the flow of the conversation but the slapstick comedy was nevertheless appreciated with the antics of the characters. The mastery of the puppeteers is to be commended. The show lasted 40 minutes. An adult ticket was 11.5 euros.Written November 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- julienklopfenstein10 contributionsI've gone twice to the Lyon Auditorium which is a huge place and can welcome about 2000 people in the audience. First time was for a concert played by the National Conservatory of Lyon ; the second time was for the Bach's Christmas Oratorio. Both were really good moments, seats are not that expensive and live music is such a powerful experience ! The sound is perfect and you vibrate with the music. I intend to go more and more to concerts there, really !Written December 23, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - The Weak Knee TravelerSingapore, Singapore12,715 contributionsThis is located up a hill and has pretty nice views but other than that nothing special. Just another roman ruin. - Morse RBoca Raton, FL79 contributionsA great program, a small room (but you can seat 150 people), a friendly service, the availability to have a drink when queuing, everything which makes you a great evening.Written November 10, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FloLyon, France275 contributionsAmazing jazz bar in Lyon (the best one), with many small tables that are well spread with additional bar stools, where you can truly relax, put your glass down and watch the musicians.
There is an intimacy that is priceless and timeless.
I have been there three times now and every time gets better.
Last night, we watched the talented pianist Marc CABRERA with two of his colleagues (drums and Bass). They were all amazing, great set of tracks, both mellow and punchy.
Marc is adorable with such a positive energy and great smile. I will watch him again anytime. He often plays there on Sundays / Thursdays. Young and older crowd come here.
++ The fact you pay at the end what you wish / can afford is also a rare thing and so refreshingly just and kind. Thank you all!
