- deniscroissantManchester, UK205 contributionsTerrific treat for those obsessed with graphics, fonts and the International history of print. This is one of the best speciality museums I've ever visited, the 3 floors are set out well and beautifully designed, lots of printing machines, examples of graphic designs and rare printing, texts are in English as well as French.
The museum is in a 15th century former Hotel de Ville and has lots of nooks and crannies and you enter from a handsome courtyard... Great shop too, friendly staff, located on a side street off Rue du President Edouard Herriot, up from the Cordeliers metro station...from 10.30 A.M closed Mon & Tue.Written October 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The series of paintings depicting Jesus’ last days is amazing - like a high quality cartoon. Especially the one with a bicycle and the dying Jesus makes you think - and feel that the situation somehow concerns you.
We saw young people rehearsing modern music behind the altar- and other youngsters contemplating here and there in the beautiful room.

- Jan51_11Formby, UK252 contributionsThe Exchange Building located between Place Bellecour and Hotel De Ville is very nice to look at, especially at night when lit up beautifully. Although only able to view from the outside it is well worth a stop to admire the fabulous architecture while passing!Written September 14, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. But the views of the buildings along are banks of the river is beautiful especially at night.
