I have wanted to see this attraction for a long time and I was not disappointed ….
I was blown away with the amazing , fantastic models ..
Totally realistic versions of major Cities and Countries and the models were just out of this world …
I would love to have taken the back stage tour but I was not there for long enough …
My favourite , as with many others , was the Airport layout ….totally realistic with hundreds of moving vehicles and planes taking off , landing and taxiing to the gates …
I am still struggling to get my head round the technicalities of this amazing project …
    A must see …..

This old tunnel stretches under the rug r to allow passage to the other side. Giant lifts at each end would lower cars into the tunnel. Now it is a pedestrian and bicycle passage. It is free and worth a stop if you are exploring waterfront.

This is the warehouse and dock area. There are still some active warehouses belonging to different types of businesses. It's very nice to walk around and cross the bridges over the canals while admiring the red brick buildings. The miniatur wunderland is also here which is worth a visit as well as the Philharmonic building.

This is a large port with much to see. Nearby there is a fish market and many restaurants. Some might find it boring, but there is cool history to find out for yourself if you are into learning when you sightsee.

Roses and trees, tall trees and green grass, playgrounds and walk sides, European and Japanese gardens forms a fantastic, relaxing, joyful oasis in Hamburg down-town.

So we was on a cruise to Hamburg and wanted to try something a little different and boy, this was certainly that. We did the english language experience with Jeremy who was a joy to be with in the dark, and is blind now himself. I wont go into too much detail but make sure you have some euros to boy a beer from the bar in total darkness at the end of the experience. Did it with the wife, my 13 year old daughter and 2 people from Poland. One of the best things we have ever done and a great way to understand life for a blind person. Thanks Jeremy x

This is a gorgeous building; exquisite architecture. This is a functional governmental building for the city of Hamburg, Germany. Because of this, some areas are restricted from touring, but there is still plenty to see that makes it worth your while to take a look at this one.

This had a great selection of animals and was just a short trip by train out of the centre of hamburg. I suppose the only thung my partner was sad about was the capybaras didn’t come out! Great walruses, tortoises, tigers and lions. Very friendly goats and the caribou was majestic! A great selection. Went on a saturday afternoon too and wasn’t too busy! Even has some mock dinosaurs.

Whatever you do don’t get the coffee from the crepe station unless you want a very expensive drink of hot water :/

    But great zoo!!

This large church dominates the skyline with its tall dark tower. The interior of the church is bright and airy with richly carved wood and gold accents. A visit up the tower requires a ticket that can be purchased at the visitor center next to the main church building. An elevator will take you to the top and a large viewing platform provides views all around the city.

    Top Show.
    Wear something with Glitter.

Winter Glitzer. With food and drink.
We watched a top Show .
I didnt know what to expect and it was great fun.
    So glad I went.
I can only compare this show to the Pantomimes that I loved to watch in the UK.

Well the Beatles were here and so were we. It is an entertainment district, at one time notorious for its honky tonk atmosphere. It is somewhat cleaned up, but there still are a lot of music and places to drink beer. Very lively at night.
