Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful promenade where you can walk along the Rhine river and enjoy the picturesque harbour views.
... to Burgplatz were we had a ride on the big wheel here and visited the wonderful Christmas market, the sites here are also really good with the big wheel and Schiffahrtsmuseum ( tower ) particularly impressive.

One of the top sights in Düsseldorf, a definite must see and a perfect spot to shoot some nice pics.
Always great to have a look, take a sun downer on the Hyatt peninsula - here you can stay outside and have the best views. .

Walking down the prominade and the riverfront there are some wonderful buildings that look really cool, the views of the River Rhine are stunning and it was so nice clearing our heads after our beery night previous...
We ate breakfast & our evening meals here because the view is fabulous, the food plentiful and tasty at reasonable prices, and most of the staff are very welcoming and pleasant.

One of the most romantic attractions of this city... Would love to visot more often, since the magical view is just so romantic and calming.. Just love it!!
Best part is the location - a lot of sights are really walkable in Duesseldorf tbh, so you can just walk here or take a quick U-Bahn ride after touring Altstadt.

Wonderful view of the City and beyond, Cocktails very good and spotlessly clean as anywhere in Germany is to be fair
This icon which can be seen from most directions is great to look up at from a distance awe-inspiring from the base and affords the most incredible views from the top.

The older more authentic buildings this side of the river are cool and the view of the fantastic bridge spanning the mighty River Rhine are awesome.
Every and each house has something interesting about itself, they are a lovely view on a nice walk.

St Lambertus Church is a Roman Catholic Church, and - maybe - the oldest building and a landmark of Altstadt.
Stunning views of the outside of the church from every angle.

A Ferris wheel for the usual nice views of a city (really good value for money you get a good few cycles on it).

Easy to access and lovely to explore and great views of the Rhine.
Theres not much information about this attraction around the site but you can find a little of its history on the board at the entrance.

Great place to enjoy the sounds, smells, sights and tastes of downtown.

The staff were helpful and friendly and the surprise was a fabulous air conditioned café on the top floor with great views of Dusseldorf and the Rhine in all directions.
The Schlossturm is an iconic landmark in Dusseldorf that if you walk down the River Rhine Prominade towards Burgplatz and the magnificent Old Town you cannot fail to see.
