Albarracin Teruel
#3 of 546 Sights & Landmarks in Aragon
It is one of the most beautiful villages I have ever seen in Spain. It seems to have come out of a fairy tale. The views from the hill where the castle is found are the best you can enjoy, especially around the sunset.
Its location is spectacular and this perception is enhanced if you are energetic / brave enough to climb up to the outer walls where the view back to the village is special.
Monasterio de Piedra Zaragoza
#4 of 546 Sights & Landmarks in Aragon
... be put off worth every penny,we spend 2 hours here in this paradise, the weather was good which helps, this involves a bit of climbing (steps) but is worth it to see the views of the waterfalls and small lakes
Magical, must-see natural and historical site!
Castle Of Loarre
#5 of 546 Sights & Landmarks in Aragon
The Loarre castle is the best way how to discard this point of view – big and spectacular building is "enhanced" with marvellous view of the Aragon “valey” around you.
The views over the Aragon plains are simply wonderful from this interesting and historic 10th C castle.

Many different architectural styles in this cathedral which was built on the site of of the old Roman forum.
We like historical sites, and we enjoyed walking around this church.

Plaza Mayor Ainsa
#8 of 546 Sights & Landmarks in Aragon
Ainsa is one of the prettiest towns of all of Spain, it is located on a hilltop with fantastic views all around.
Climb the stairs to the top for a great view of the city and lake in the background - very pretty!

Perfect place to take a stroll, visit the cathedral, sit down and relax, enjoy the view and even grab a drink on the many cafes on the side.
The views of the basilica are outstanding, the place is great to have a walk and enjoy the day.
Monasterio de Veruela Vera de Moncayo
#11 of 546 Sights & Landmarks in Aragon
I have been many times but every time I learn something new about the history or the building They soon open a parador and then will be a busy place I think because it’s very well preserved and the views of Moncay...

Palacio de la Aljaferia Zaragoza
#14 of 546 Sights & Landmarks in Aragon
Travel sites don’t seem to lavish much praise on this palace, even though it is one of Spain's three greatest Moorish palaces (along with Córdoba's Mezquita and Granada's Alhambra).
Wonderful site with nice architecture.
Torre Mudejar de El Salvador Teruel
#15 of 546 Sights & Landmarks in Aragon
Interesting Moorish-style watchtower inside which there is a small museum and (easy) stairs to the top of the tower which gives great views across the rooftops of Teruel.
Beautiful example of Mujedar architecture - and great views from the top!

The views across the plains are impressive but if you tire of the view there are plenty of little bars to quench thirst, snack on tapas an while away a few hours.
San Juan de la Pena Jaca
#18 of 546 Sights & Landmarks in Aragon
Historic site of old monastery under a cliff overhang, worth driving a mountain road.
Great site with good access support considering it is under a cliff on the side of a mountain .only

Stunning views especially if you have a good head for heights.
I think this is is probably one of the most remarkable sites of the town.
Torre Del Pilar Zaragoza
#21 of 546 Sights & Landmarks in Aragon
Although the Basilica itself is absolutely stunning and humbling, spend the 3 Euros for the lift: incredible views of the city, river and mountains
It gives you a spectacular view of the city and the Basilica itself and provides a great perspective.

Spent a rainy, windy afternoon walking around Zaragoza and this bridge with the 2 lions guarding it has very nice views of the giant Cathedral, great place to take photos.
It is a beautiful old bridge that offers great views of the river and the old city centre of Zaragoza.

Cathedral of Jaca Jaca
#29 of 546 Sights & Landmarks in Aragon
No stop over to Jaca should be without a walk by and a view of the cathedral.
If you don't know you're looking at a key site in the history of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, this would look like a dull grey old church.
