MEAM Museu Europeu d'Art Modern
#11 of 163 Museums in Barcelona
Unlike most modern art, the works in this wonderful museum are mainly figurative, often highly detailed.
In addition to the superb installation in a magnificent building, the other striking aspect of the museum is that all the work was created in the 21st century, much of it by artists in their 20s and 30s.

It is a relatively small museum, but it has things for the adults - a fascinating look into the history of chocolate and things for the kids - sculptures made of chocolate.
