Pont del Diable
#1 of 57 Sights & Landmarks in Tarragona
It is great photo opportunity and visitors can walk across the valley on the top of aqueduct, which provides awesome views.
Walking across the top of it felt a bit irreverent, but provided a great view and outstanding sense of history.

Catedral Basilica Metropolitana Primada de Tarragona
#2 of 57 Sights & Landmarks in Tarragona
Located in a site previously occupied by a Roman temple, a Visigothic cathedral and a Moorish mosque. The cathedral is in transitional style from the Romanesque to the Gothic.
... the side streets in tarragon centre as you walk up past the Spanish houses the cathedral is set at the top what a beautiful sight a reasonable price to view and wow when you enter it is huge and incredibleto see.
Casco Antiguo de Tarragona
#3 of 57 Sights & Landmarks in Tarragona
The view of the sea is amazing and the local atmosphere was very cozy outside of Barcelona.
Roman and Medieval sights to see, take a map and enjoy.
Mediterranean Balcony
#4 of 57 Sights & Landmarks in Tarragona
We walked up the Rambla Nova to the balcony, the views are just magnificent, you can see out to sea, down to the port, you can see the rail lines and trains running along the coastline.

Circ Roma
#5 of 57 Sights & Landmarks in Tarragona
... 200 metres found an amazing B C Roman ruin, comprising Praetorium and partly excavated Circus, and just down the hill the spectacular amphitheater right on the coast with spectacular views of the Mediterranean.
The vaults extend to the fort, and this area includes a model of the medieval town and a simply stunning view from the rooftop (it is well worth the number of steps that you need to climb).
Amfiteatre
#6 of 57 Sights & Landmarks in Tarragona
Beautiful view, perfect combination of colours with the sea, my favourite site in Tarragona.
From hell overlooking the Amphitheatre there are good views into the monument as well as out to sea from the Parc del Miracle which serves as a nice place to cool off in the midday sun in the shade of the trees wh...

Monumento a los Castellers
#7 of 57 Sights & Landmarks in Tarragona
It is on the Rambla Nova - main street for tourist heading to the Mediterranean balcony with stunning views to the sea.
I would consider getting the tourist train and getting off at stops 9 or 10 for a walk down Rambla Nova to take a view.
Murallas de Tarragona
#8 of 57 Sights & Landmarks in Tarragona

Remember though, on Sundays most museums and sites close at 2pm.
Gives a good miniature view of ancient city of Tarraco.
Placa dels Sedassos
#12 of 57 Sights & Landmarks in Tarragona
A placa recommendable to by a piece of pizza and a drink and have a seat on the stairs next to the placa and contemplate the good moment with beautiful view.
What a fanciful sight to view in an otherwise semi- dark street.
La Rambla Nova
#13 of 57 Sights & Landmarks in Tarragona
... Tarragona tradition: "tocar ferro", or "to touch iron", which involves walking up the Rambla until you reach the iron railing at the top and simply stay there and admire the views and the sea breeze for a while.
At the top of the street is a statue and a magnificent view overlooking the beach, the port and the Mediterranean.

Torre del Pretorio Romana
#18 of 57 Sights & Landmarks in Tarragona
Contains some interesting exhibitions, gives you access to what remains of the Circus and if you climb to the top of the tower, you can also access fantastic panoramic views of Tarragona.
The view from the top of the tower is spectacular and embraces most of Tarrogona, including the cathedral, the sea and the amphitheater, and the surrounding hills.

Extraordinary site
Not as impressive or as intact as the other Roman sites in Tarragona but seems less visited and not as crowded.
