This tour was a great way to see Trastevere and try local food on our first night in Rome. I was concerned my 12 year old son would not feel included, but he had a wonderful time. Our guide Luca was entertaining and interacted with everyone. He made it feel like an evening out with friends rather than a tour with strangers. We learned local history, how to order food correctly, how to spot “fake” gelato, and even some Italian hand gestures! This introduction helped us choose great meals the remainder of our trip in Rome.
What a way to learn to cook! This class was so great. Chef Leo helped us to work on our pasta making skills and kept things as light and fresh as the Tiramisu we made. We learned to make our own fettuccine and ravioli noodles, as well as other insights into Italian cooking and how to make things the very best. It was almost overwhelming, and we can't wait to show our friends and impress them at home!
The views were amazing….. something a camera cannot properly capture. The trip was filled with landscapes, culture, excellent food experience with wine, great shopping in quaint stores. But the trip was 5 star +++ because of our guide, Claudia. She was fun, entertaining, educational and such an enjoyable trip. If you can… ask for Claudia!!!!
THE. BEST. EXPERIENCE. book it now. My husband and I are currently discussing this food tour while on another vacation- 9 months AFTER we went lol. It was one of Rome highlights and simply cannot be skipped!
Went on the evening food tour with Luca. It lasted approximately 2.5 hours. We tasted salami, suplis(small versions of arancini, Roman pizza, fried artichokes and gelato. Not a huge amount of food but just right for me. All of it was very good. Luca was highly entertaining and knowledgeable. We visited the Jewish ghetto as one of our last stops and it was truly mystical at night. Highly recommend!
Mariel was our guide and she was pleasant and very knowledgeable. She answered all kinds of weird questions we came up with! Food was great & history was very interesting!
This was an exceptional tour. Dimitri was an excellent tour guide who not only took us to outstanding restaurants but told us about the history of the areas we were in and shared so Much about the city of Rome! I would highly recommend this tour. The food was outstanding and we went to places we would not have found on our own. We will visit them again before leaving the city.
Our Dough to Dessert: 3-in-1 Cooking Class near Piazza Navona with Chef Thomas was an absolute blast. Chef Thomas charmed us with his expertise and made the experience not only educational but incredibly fun. It quickly became the highlight of our trip to Italy, with all of our children rating it as their favorite activity. Not only did we enjoy valuable family time, but we also learned to craft some of the most delicious pasta we've ever tasted. A must-do for families looking to create lasting memories and savor authentic Italian cuisine.
I enjoyed learning to make fettuccine pasta, and the instructor was friendly. However, I wish we had also learned to make a sauce that goes with the pasta instead of just making the pasta.
The best way to see a lot of Rome in a short period! I did this 3 years ago and came back to Rome and did it again! The e-bikes do all the work so you won’t physically exert yourself too much! I Highly recommend:)
Amazing experience! Laura and Benjamin were amazing and so kind. The drinks were so yummy and the atmosphere was warm and fun! We learned so many great cooking tips, some Italian expressions, and listened to music. The pasta and tiramisu was so delicious. Would definitely recommend !!! A must do!
Simone did an excellent job and was very patient, would do it again without a doubt, loved the fact that now I have a pizza class certificate by a real Italian chef
