It was great to get out of the overcrowded and touristy streets to immerse myself in nature and enjoy the vines, the cliffs, the sea and the olive trees.
Good trail in good repair (compared to trails outside the park) and as another reviewer noted, there is a bar 1/2 way between the towns offering fresh squeezed juice and fantastic views.

Trail 2 is the original trail connecting the five towns; the first two segments are still closed as of March 2017 - use the park website to find the alternate routes (trails 531, 506, 586, 587).

Cinque Terre is an Italian National Park, you can buy a week's pass with train fare for about 25 euros.
The villages and the trains were full of tourists, it ruined the beauty of the national park, but only along the hiking route, I felt that the visit was worth.

Park near the sea, promenade for a relaxing moment in a special atmosphere, it smell's the sea, the trees, the flowers... there are benchs for switch off.
I really enjoyed it here, I walked through here to the Marina at least once a day on my holiday and most evenings we strolled along the park and seafront after dinner.
