What travellers are saying
- Bagir BSamarkand, Uzbekistan568 contributionsAfter arriving by ferry to Bellagio 10-30, we looked at the surroundings and then came at last to Villa Melzi at 13-40 where we spent only one hour because we purchased tickets for the ferry on 15-00. It was not enough for Villa Melzi because the territory of the park is so huge, and you need to pay attention to each detail that created is here for people's gaze. So if you want to come to Villa Melzi, find yourself about two hours.
The park itself is very beautiful, the ticket price despite it's expensive is deserve to be visited. I truly say that I am happy and think that it won't forgettable moment in my life.Written October 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It rained earlier during the day, weather was cloudy, so we didn’t get the postcard pictures I was expecting.
Nevertheless it was a great place for a slow walk to appreciate the amazing scenery of Lake Como.Written June 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our tour guide Lavinia was warm, approachable and very knowledgeable!
Stunning picturesque panorama of Lago Di Como!

I am rating this so that you will find one of the things to look at. A nice church.Written September 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - worktotravel14Trenton, NJ4,267 contributionsFriendly wine shop, perfect for grabbing a nicer bottle for dinner or taking it home. They ship and also participate in vat tax processing. I bought enough wine to basically make my limoncello free. They have a broad price range -- something for everyone and will help you choose a great gift.Written January 26, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - futtock21London, UK17,277 contributionsWe visited Bellagio on a day trip from Milan taking a train to Lecco then a bus along the edge of the right-hand trouser-leg of Lake Como to the genital region where what is righty described as the pearl of the lake sits. We spent a few hours stroking up and down the cobbled streets browsing in little boutiques selling clothing, local art and ceramics enjoying lunch on the terrace of a hotel restaurant before heading back to Milan.Written August 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TinoChelmsford, UK5,544 contributionsA lovely little village on the lake we stopped here to have a lovely bite to eat after a really long walk which is well worth doing to soak in the viewsWritten December 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - phat_dawg_21Alpharetta, GA17,329 contributionsThis is a lovely walk along the lakeshore with views of Lago di Como and the villages on the north shore.
In the center are beautiful gardens.
You will pass several monuments including the statue of Antonio Mella, and a memorial to John F Kennedy, which was in a very neglected state.Written August 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bruce HSeattle, WA140 contributionsThis Museum is located a short, lovely walk south of the main part of Bellagio. It's not easy to find but it is very worthwhile and it's open every day from 10:00am to 1;00pm. This museum has an amazing collection of over 600 different navigational instruments, as well as drawings, charts, working models of how the planets rotate around the sun, old sextants and octants, chronometers, astrolabes, cardboard telescopes, old compasses and sundials. We were very fortunate to have Giulia Cittadini as our very knowledgeable guide to help us understand how these instruments functioned. You need to spend about an hour or two to fully appreciate the scope of this collection.Written October 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Adam H1 contributionWe found our way into the Valentinarte Gallery in Bellagio due to the window display and ended up falling in love with a Carlo Bianchi painting (and his story). The owner, Barbara, was very friendly and professional. She took plenty of time to talk with us about the painting, the artist, and Bellagio / Lake Como in general.
When we returned home, Barbara was in constant contact with us via email and sent us pictures of the painting. When we decided to purchase, Barbara made the entire process (including shipment / delivery) simple and seamless. If you are looking for a unique piece of art, Barbara and Valentinarte Gallery in Bellagio is a must visit.Written November 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
