- TraceShellharbour, Australia70 contributionsThe tour started in a disorganised way. We met in a dirty and quite dodgy area. The bus was very full and the Driver was rude throughout the day. However, the day was still a relaxed and wonderful experience. The boat trip across Lake Como was gorgeous. Bellagio was mostly closed (the low season) but it was lovely to just take in the view with no crowds. Lugana was also beautiful. There were Christmas markets and I indulged in a hot chocolate that was divine. Friendly, informative, and very organized. Wish she could show us around all of Italy. - Julia S1 contributionWe booked this tour through Viator. Meet up point instructions were clearly provided and we boarded the bus which wasn’t overly crowded and a nice ride. I did take Dramamine because I get car sick and no problems. Our tour guide was very informative. Once we arrived at Lake Como we had a chance to grab coffee and a treat. The boat ride was fantastic. Beautiful scenic ride. Then Bellagio for 2 hours and were provided recommendations for lunch we chose a carry out pasta place, incredible and was able to eat inside. Wish we had more time here. The last part f the trip was my least favorite. Went to Lugano and if you want to high end shop you will love it but otherwise that is all there is to do. Basically a city on a lake. We were warmly welcomed and shown the most beautiful spots on the lake. - Joseph LMountain View, CA3 contributionsThe tour was generally good. After visiting Bellagio, the long drive going all around the lake to Lake Como was uneventful and generally boring. I would have preferred a shorter drive and more time in Bellagio and Como, or perhaps taking a boat from one to the other. The guide was friendly and informative, making the day enjoyable. I only wish there was a bit more flexibility to spend extra time in certain spots. - Nigel D8 contributionsAs this was our first visit to Lake Como, we decided to take the 1-hour local speed-boat tour as soon as we arrived in Bellagio; to give us a general idea of the locality. We wanted to see the two Casino Royale villas from the water. Roberto was our guide/driver. We were able to complete the objective and get a good feel for the places we would visit in a more leisurely way later. Roberto told us about places we passed which was helpful later on in our vacation. I can totally recommend this one-hour excursion. In retrospect, I’d probably select a 2-hour tour and take in Nesso as well. - Tena GLafayette, IN13 contributionsDid not give 5 stars due to meeting location being extremely confusing and tour starting an hour later than stated. If they would have stated Pier number and or had a sign with name would have been much less stressful, others complained of same issue. Otherwise boat was great, tour guide was nice and locations and bus ride all fantastic. Highly recommend!
