Part of our City Sightseeing Bus tour, we passed by these incredible buildings, three Skyscrapers, the straight ( Isozaki Tower) the crooked (Hadids tower) and the curved ( Libeskind’s tower..Many offices , large area to walk with trees , looks like a park surrounding the area.

Although mainly for window shopping, at least for regular people, this area of Milan is not to be missed, since it's one of the city's trademarks.

We had a great lunch here during our week in Milano. It was super hot in June but we persisted and sat outside (covid concerns persist) and had a fabulous lunch. Some of the best food we had had all week. Followed up with a wander to the gallery upstairs and then some shopping - all in the same building! They have some cool stuff there.

I went down the street from my hotel to this street market. I was pleasantly surprised that although it's similar to other street markets, it differs from them by the type of food you can get AND the lack of rudeness (almost very helpful) attitude of the local Italians. We were treated very respectfully by every vendor, they made us feel comfortable with our purchases. AND, the most important thing is that you can get fair quality items for an extremely good price, eg a leather purse for 10-25 euros vrs 850 for a change bag from a distinguished designer. I liked their stuff, but mostly I liked the food!

In a city known for fashion. Corso Venezia is part of the city's Quadrilatero della moda shopping district.

We found elegant buildings and upmarket brands with high prices.

The street runs all the way to Corso Buenos Aires which is also known for its shopping.

Long avenue market. Half of it foods, fruits, vegetables, dry food, fish, cheese, meat. The other half clothes, dishes, accessorizes.
If you love markets, go there, otherwise, nothing special.

If you are not looking for some old coins, stamps and/or antiques, don't go.
Or you can just pass by if you are in the area.

It was close to our hotel so I thought I'd check it out. There was some kind of wine tasting going and a band. There aren't many store but enough to occupy you for an hr or so. There is also the Italian version of Walmart I guess it was grocery store, appliance store, butcher, pharmacy all in one that came in handy.

One of the best-known shopping street in a city that has no shortage of them, prides itself with more than four hundred brands in its numerous shops. Nothing strange for this city!

Living few metres from Deodato Art Gallery, I have always loved their displays.

The kind, gentle and expert staff (Bea, Bea and Marzia overall) are able to thrill visitors describing the story behind each artwork displayed, from Koons to Warhol, Hirst, Haring, Tomoko, Brainwash, Britto and some interesting Italian names among which Lodola, Vullo and Mr.Savethewall.

And more important, you can start a collection without the necessity to sell your house or squander your savings... So go there and enjoy a comfortable immersion in contemporary art.
