What travellers are saying
- Nik RVarna, Bulgaria6,679 contributionsThe market covers a huge area and is usually very hectic and crowdy. My wife got quite stressed but I love such busy places even just watching and loitering around. The market actually consists of a huge food court with plenty stalls, clothing shops and such for trinkets and memorabilia, and an area for selling fruit and vegetables. You need to take care of your valuables because you can encounter pickpockets.Written May 19, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mrsdcbarryPasadena, CA2 contributionsSecond floor of the Gallery was closed and no one could tell me why, my fault likely cuz I don’t speak Italian. That was disappointing as I understand the more renowned paintings in the collection are there. I did see a Rembrandt they had in a hallway. Unfortunately it was oddly placed, behind plexiglass so that when I viewed it I got reflections of myself too. Not ideal. The entire complex as a whole though made the visit worth it. We paid for the audio guide and that enhanced our experience.Written April 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 564normSydney, Australia350 contributionsVisited the flea market while we were in Torino, not the best but there were some highlights, antique furniture for one. Have been to better markets but this one was not the best even though it is very large.Written September 27, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DtlustyCarson259 contributionsPerhaps the largest open air market in Europe, certainly in Italy. Food, clothing, shoes, memorabilia and restaurants.Written December 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - simisimipuntoPalma de Mallorca, Spain25 contributionsI would like everyone visiting Torino, my hometown, to visit. Why? There are many good reasons, first of all for what you can find, the staff professionality is not ordinary and you lose track of time being surrounded by beautiful art pieces and listening to incredible little insight that are unsual and not necessary something you would read on the internet, moreover the place is small and cozy in a beautifl side of town. Is one of the places make me proud to be a "torinese", traditions meets experience and good taste. With Elena you will certanly find some piece that will remain part of your life for ever or be sure you'll find the perfect gift. Enjoy :)Written December 4, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- HarrywithabCroydon, UK5 contributionsA stunning place. A post industrial park complete with iron girders, graffiti, metal walkways all surrounded by stunning wild flowers. Great walk and park. Well worth a visit and a direct contrast to the more classical TurinWritten June 28, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CHRISTOS KThessaloniki, Greece295 contributionsSmall size shopping centre, next to Juventus stadium. There are shops and a supermarket, some coffee shops and restaurants. You can spend your time there, before entering the stadium. Of course, the shopping centre is not anything special, but it's a good choice if you are nearbyWritten April 22, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - VittoriaGrazGraz, Austria29 contributionsThis place is amazing !!!
Once you enter "Il Balon" shop, it's like you enter a new dimension: great art, antiques and memories from the past that let you live a unique experience. I would suggest anyone to go... the courtesy of the staff and their knowledge give you an unforgettable experience.
I personally met Claudio and Jacopo Fornasieri and their assistant Stefania: they make a great team - absolutely top quality and reliable service.
Thanks and hopefully see you soon! 😊 VittoriaWritten August 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I looked closely at the Lotus and McLaren and found they were only show cars not real F1 cars. No FIA seals in drivers cockpits and no dashboards. I was assured by email they were real but even the chassis on the McLaren did not have the proper bits under the wing mirrors which a McLaren expert like myself would know. The staff were unhelpful and I think it was not worth the visit. Fly into Donnington in the UK for a better exhibition.Written April 17, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SoMuchAlohaOahu, HI533 contributionsMake sure you stop by, Galo Art Gallery, to check out top international artists. The Gallery owners Galo and his wife Sascha are friendly. Prices are reasonable. If you are looking for unique art to add to your collection, this is the place.Written May 3, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
