- Gavin W5 contributions11/10 experience. Jason and Tony were our tour guides, they were fantastic! Me and my wife did this tour with my parents and grandparents. The locations they took us were stunning and had great wine. The tour would have been great regardless but what really made the trip an experience we will remember was our tour guides, Jason and Tony. They made the trip so fun and had my parents and grandparents laughing the whole tour. Would do this tour every day if I could.

Our teacher, Lorenzo, was the best! He had the best energy, kept everyone engaged and just made the whole process a lot of fun. - HardlanHobart, IN39 contributionsMy 27 year old daughter booked the pizza and gelato making tour. We had walk about tours. They were so magnificent. In all our travels from Florence to Rome then into Switzerland this was one of our favorite experiences. Chris Arla and Titiano were so entertaining and fun to hear and watch. They made things funny and exciting. Chris encouraged us to try different gelatos with different things and go out of our comfort zone with the tastings. We got the best pictures together and laughed so much. Beautiful area as well. Highly recommend this tour. We got to eat our own pizza we made. We are so excited to try and recreate at home. And after we were sent all recipie of all the gelato and pizza recipes. Talk about going above and beyond!! I thought it would be in the kitchen during the off-hours of a restaurant, but it was a facility structured specifically for education. The class was a dozen of like-minded people. This was not a surprise, as why would you pay for something you didn't want to do? Our chef, Dave, was first class; he engaged everyone, made a huge effort to remember everyone's names, and had great humour. My family had a wonderful time, and it was clear nobody left disappointed. - Steve D6 contributionsWe met the red van and were taken to an amazing home overlooking Firenze. If you fantasized about s a home in Tuscany, this would check many of those boxes.
The morning started with espresso, cookies and conversation. Then we made fresh pasta dough. This was prepared as cappaletti (served in butter & sage sauce) and spaghetti (served in a creamy pesto)..
We also learned to make gnocchi which was served in a fresh tomato sauce.
All the while, we talked, laughed, drank Prosecco and limoncello.

The gelato making was very interesting as well. And of course everything tasted amazing!

- Christina P6 contributionsThe cooking class was simply amazing! We learned how to make fresh pasta from scratch, ravioli and prepare the classic Italian dessert, tiramisu. The recipes were easy to follow and great even for beginners.
What I especially liked was the combination of hands-on cooking and the short market tour, where we were introduced to fresh ingredients. It was inspiring to see how to select high-quality products for the kitchen. Plus, the delicious red wine perfectly complemented the experience.
