Lots to see and lots of stairs to climb but worth a visit. You can go inside the first floor without paying but we decided to pay to see more.

We went after booking tickets online, but you can probably just pay at the door as there is not a queue at this Museum. It's not open every day so best check beforehand There's a stunning medieval courtyard and a series of rooms with all kinds of collections. Unfortunately after about 2 hours we were exhausted and tired, there is not place to sit in any of the rooms. The only seating area is in the courtyard and that's very limited, so it's hard to take a breather, recharge then continue. The Michelangelo Room is closed at present.

The Palazzo di Giustizia, or Tribunal of Florence or courthouse is a modern building reflective of old gothic designs. It is built of glass and metal and stone and can be easily seen from the A11 highway and is located in the Novoli quarter of Florence near the Florence Airport. It is very large and is second only in size to the Tribunal building in Turin. It is quite an impressive structure from the road and I would recommend stopping by to explore the architecture of the inside if you have the time. Unfortunately we were not able to go inside during our stop, but would like to if visiting Florence again.
