A taste of modern day art in Florence! A wonderful gallery. Full of fantastic paintings in a space that is both inviting and comfortable. The brothers, Roberto and Rodolfo, are both interesting characters that entertain their guests with Grace and humor! I will definitely be returning to this gallery.

Quirky bar close to the square at Santa Maria Novella run by a guy who has a real love for his craft …. cocktail making, each one being an individual work of art. A great place if you like a cocktail and somewhere a little different. His Hugo’s were the best in Florence.

We happened upon this place but had read a bit about Clet having seen his street sign art around town. Our first view was the Hammer and Sickle sign that was a Dead End sign. We thought it was so unusual and after a bit of Googling we figured out that it was street art. When we were on our way to the Piazza de Michelangelo we just happened upon this store- I thought it was just a gift shop but turns out it is his studio. And I just realized after getting home that Clet himself was in the studio that day just sitting at his desk in the back- we didn't even know what he looked like so didn't realize it was him! The store has a good selection of magnets, stickers and stuff that provide a fun memory of our trip!

We visited this wonderful shop with our private walking tour guide. We're so glad she introduced us to this stunning workshop! The artisans were welcoming and friendly and showed us how they create their unbelievable works of art.

The showroom is like a museum of the highest quality craftsmanship. What a treat to experience this rare artform that deserves preserving.

We knew little of the palace before we came here. What a great collection of magnificent artworks. The fee was reasonable and entry easy.

Fast and professionally customised US passport photographer! The process took only 15 minutes from photoshoot, development, customised passport size photo trim, and payment. Meantime, waiting, you can visit the poster size historical photojournalistic collection!

What an incredible week! I really can’t thank Laura enough. She taught me so much in such a compressed timeframe and with such passion, enthusiasm and insight. Laura answered all the questions I could have asked before I needed to ask them. She helped me spot when something wasn’t quite right - not only did her hawk eyes catch where I’d gone wrong, she could explain to me why I’d made the mistakes I had, and the skewed logic that one can recognise and correct only with years of experience.

Although I had just 6 three-hour sessions across the week, what I learned was invaluable. It was so fulfilling and joyful to paint again after such a long time. Laura is such a wonderful teacher!

I hope to have the opportunity to return to the studio for another course/project in the not too distant future.

I discovered this gem 5 years ago when I was last in Florence. I purchased a couple of things that Anastazija made and shipped to me. Some time later I broke the olive oil bottle much to my dismay but was able to contact her about making another. So going to see her this trip was a must. I now have a pitcher on order with her. She is delightful and extremely talented. Take the time to find her little shop and enjoy her unique style.

I commissioned Gabriele to paint me. It is exquisite! He is a master of the human body. Also, he is a complete gentlemen. I will relish the painting for the rest of my life! The painting is so stunning and I just really am so grateful and thankful for the experience! Gabriele is extremely talented, and is one of the last true artisans in Florence for paintings.

Il dipinto è così bello e speciale!

This is a great space for Contemporary Art with International artists and affordable prices. You can find from Scottish to Japanese, from Indonesian to South African Artists represented in this amazing gallery as well as many Italian Artists of course.
Very different from all other places on this famous road which is well known mainly for its antique shops.

As a lover of contemporary art, every time I go to Firenze, I will definitely pay a visit to Strozzina. The part I love the best is the courtyard, which works like a showcase window of the exhibition inside, with site-specific installations, always nice, and open to the public. If not enough time for the well-curated temporary exhibitions, just a sitting at the courtyard or a caffe at the bar can also be very inspiring and relaxing.
The only negative opinion about the space is about the toilette, for the ground floor of Palazzo Strozzi, there is only one toilette near the bar open with key, so only client of the bar can use the toilette, or there is another one on the first floor belonging to exhibition space of Palazzo Strozzi, so you can go only if you have the ticket to visit the exhibition up floor.
