- Kurt CMalta25 contributionsThe Campanile is a very wonderful attraction in Florence. This is my second time that I climbed this campanile. Once again, it was filled with crowds, even though we booked the trip for first thing in the morning. The climb is a bit difficult but at the end very worth it. Highly recommended for tourist who enjoy history and beautiful views. It was so much fun. Something so different than American sports and it was great to see the pride each person had for their neighborhood!!

We were met at the meeting point by Fabio, a very lively, funny busy chap (reminded me a lot of Buddy the Elf 😀). He gave some great local info on our way up to the garage. On arrival we were met by the rest of the team Gabriel, Dario and Alex. We all had to complete a driving test prior to departure, in the end Pillion for me . We were divided into two groups, our team had Fabio in the Fiat 500 car as safety lead and Dario on Vespa at the rear of our group tour. Alex helped at tricky departures and turnings along the route which was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the scenic route with two stops for views and lots of local information provided by our two guides. We enjoyed a meal at the Walkabout cookery school then return to garage to meet up with bus for return Florence. Super day, excellently organised. Would definitely recommend. The staff were really friendly and clearly loved escape rooms themselves so was great chatting to them before and after. - Eriin6 contributionsThis is such a fun/unique activity to do if you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city! However If you or someone in your party don’t have some motorcycle or driving experience this is not the tour for you! Dejan who was leading the Vespa tour was the absolute best! Hilarious and such a fun time. Afterwards Luca gave a tour of a family owned winery. He was welcoming, funny, knowledgable and really created a wonderful experience and memorable day for us. Gorgeous bike ride route followed by lunch and wine tasting at a private home/castle. The route was easy to navigate and thoughtfully mapped out. Some of the best views of the city and a nice visit to a local winery with delicious wines and snacks! John even recommended an amazing place to eat lunch once we were done. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour. Please go do this! Our family plus two friends... who were dreading the adventure given the heat. And my goodness, did we all absolutely love the day. Between a morning departure, shaded country lanes and a downhill breeze, we were perfectly comfortable. Our guides, Chris Small and Francesco, were as delightful as they were knowledgable. They were brimming with fun facts, historic details, cultural insights and personal charm. In addition to biking and gelato, we enjoyed the towns (and tastes) of Castellina and San Gimignano. Truly, in our eyes, the outing was perfect. The guides, the coordination, the activities, the scenery -- perfect. - Emma B1 contributionI studied abroad in Florence this summer and went on three trips with Smart Trip. I went on one to Siena & Tuscany where we had a private wine tasting and lunch, cinque terre where we had plenty of time to explore, and my favorite Amalfi coast! If you're studying abroad Smart trips is the best because they organize everything for you, right down to the transportation between towns in Cinque. I never felt uncomfortable or unsure and all of the tour guides are amazing, especially Sophia! They made my friends and I feel so welcome. I feel like I spent way less than I should have for Amalfi because I literally had the time of my life and they organized amazing things for us and always made sure we had time to get in the water. When I come back to study abroad I plan on booking a smart trip every weekend!
