The fact that I spent 2 2/2 hours in this museum is testament to the gripping nature of the content. So much to see and read and absorb.I felt a bit exhausted by the time I had finished.

The museum is very fun, educative and at a great location. The museum is very interactive, which makes it very kid friendly. It's also quite educational. I would recommend it, but it is more focused on the younger kids i'd say. It's definitly still fun for the older kids but there's not as much to learn I'd say.

This is an excellent experience, not only you get a professional historic photoshoot experience, but a very interesting insight in creative process of Rembrandt and Vermeer. We highly recommend this!

Great audioguided tour through the historic ship. Enjoyed the time travel between the old set up as freight ship into the funky residential houseboat. Lots of knowledge shared about living on the water! Definitely recommended if you are interested in the houseboat lifestyle.

This museum is a small part of the Jewish Historical Museum of Amsterdam. It's not only for the children but for everyone who doesn't know much about the life of a jewish family. Soon after you open the door, you will see the living room of a jewish family, the Hollander. All the interior and the jewish things in the room will give you an idea how they live. There is also a studio, where the children doing drawing or making handicraft. There is always activity special for the children on Sunday and a theatre gives performance everyday between 11.00 am to 05.00 pm. This museum is very informative.

We didn't intend to visit here, but ended up entering as a last resort begging them to let us use their toilet during the ridiculous Dutch lockdown where a fast food restaurant is 'essential', but public restrooms are not.

That said, we did not stay to view the experience, but the ladies at the reception desk were very kind and let me and my senior citizen parents use their toilets. Thank you soooo much!

The front room and basement of this canel house is chock full of cabinets with 20th century toys all of which have an intersting story. The currater, Joseph, demostrated an extensive knowlege of his collection and told many fasinating stories as he toured us around the musuem.

Many cabinets had audio guides installed so that you can hear these stories even when exploring on your own. They also use QR codes that when used with your own mobile device allows for video demostrations of many of the toys in action (free wifi is avilable for those who do not have a data connection).

Still a work in progress, which musuem is not, a great way to spend an hour if your just toy curious or way longer if you wish to see everything.
