Certainly the highlight of Faro, and the Old Town is a joy to wander around, taking time to view the gorgeous architecture & pretty buildings. It is a great place to eat in one of the many good restaurants & you can sit & watch the world go by in any of the bars.

Probably our favourite beach at the moment that you can enjoy just a short ferry ride from Olhao, surprisingly there were not that many people about which was perfect for us, very calm water which is safe for swimming.

Visited the beach while on holiday in faro . We'd got the bus - a bit of a walk from stop.
    Beach was well worth it.
Clean , sandy had a good couple of hours in winter sun!
    Plenty of bars/restaurants along front
Ferry taxi only €2 euros back to Faro
Public toilets a bit run down .
