A must see beautiful beach and island on the edge of the Ria Formosa nature park! Clean beach with turquoise water.
Waders and waterfowl are to be seen if you take the nature boat trip, which travels slowly out and has a knowledgeable guide steering the boat.

Got to the beach early so we were able to park very close and have a very pleasant walk along the lovely beach.
The rocks above it make it magical and as if it is something from Jurassic Park !

Portugal is amazing and so are the Algarve Islands, in the Ria Formosa Natural Park.
Highly recommended for a taste of traditional Portuguese fishing community - the beaches left one with the impression of nature untouched.
