This is just like the countryside, very nice experience of old fashion food shopping.
Traditionally a Fish Market only on Wednesday and Saturday but now they have a permanent area that resembles a Food Market with several restaurants and shops right where the market used to be.

There is a beauty saloon, a pharmacy (specialised in beauty products), tabacaria (selling newspapers and magazines from all around the world), small bookshop selling antique books and a few clothes shops.
Casa da Guia also has a cute little garden store, several little shops inside the Guide House, a children's play area and a few tour operations.
