We walked to this beach from Cascais, a pleasant walk along the sea. We did not linger for long but noted a nice stretch of sand, gentle surf, and some places to buy food.

It was a really good experience. I haven’t been in such a beautiful casino like this before. I like it, because its not only a casino but a restaurant, expo, and hotel.

This area is very nice. Our driver took us along this beautiful highway when we left Sintra. I only wish we had more time to explore it. The entire coastline is worthwhile. I am glad we got to see it.

Located in the beautiful residential area of Monte Estoril, an outstanding private "palacio"&garden/park is waiting to be discovered!

The very empathic and knowledgable lady at the entrance gave us some very interesting and surprising information 🤗

The "Sintra style" mansion was built +/- 100 years ago, for the Irish/Port. family O'Neill. Don't miss the details/stained glass entrance door: shamrock and "LAMH DEARG EIRIN" (The Red Hand of Ireland). To the left you'll find the St.Patricks chapel.

Plenty of azulejos/tiles to admire (brought from different already existing places/houses).

The next owners were a rich Port. couple (Belard). When his spouse passed away and without having children, Mr Belard donated the beautiful mansion to the municipality of Cascais ... (Verdades de Faria is the name of Mr Belards wife).

The music collection is interesting, as well as the temporary exhibition showing the democratics fight against Salazar.

Main asset however is the beautiful palacio, park&garden!

This is an annual event showing off local handicrafts, food, dancing and music. We go every year and always take any overseas visitors. Various eateries offering a wide selection of food and drinks. Music and dance shows on offer too..

Located in Estoril close to the train station/avenida marginal.

From outside it looks "normal", but inside you'll be taken away by beautiful azulejos/Port.tiles, carved wood, mural paintings etc.

Well kept church where you can enjoy a "spiritual" stop!

In the tennis club building you can walk downstairs and join the bridge players for a bridgetournament.

    Friendly and welcoming people.

Good idea when it's really stormy and rainy!

We walked along this beach while we were in the Cascais area and thoroughly enjoyed the views of the sea. It was cold and there weren't many people around.

This city park and garden is very big and stretches from the train tracks to the big casino. On the other sides are elegant modern apartment buildings. Very pretty and well-maintained.

They have some tasty craft beer and the tables seem nicely covered to protect from even 38 degree heat. It’s nice to sit here and look out at the gardens in front of the casino

    A beautiful and peaceful beach.
Not at all busy and with plenty of places to eat and drink along the promenade.
