There is so much to see here and enjoy - from ancient Egypt to 20th Century masterpieces. My wife and I spent the best part of a day in the museum including an excellent lunch in their restaurant (very reasonably priced).

We had a great day out at the Centro Colombo. It is easy to find. There is plenty of parking available and access is easy. A beautifully designed shopping centre. I would recommend going to the information desk and asking for a map of the centre. There is a centre hub where a lot of the "designer" shops cn be found and then arms go off in all directions from there. Lots of shops and an excellent variety of shops. Many of the staff in the shops were extremely pleasant and helpful and special kudo's to the gentleman serving in the Clarke's shoe store - he was brilliant and extremely helpful, thank you. Great food hall with plenty of seating and food for every sort of taste including those with dietary restrictions.

For those with mobility issues and require use of a wheelchair or mobility scooter. Most of this shopping centre is accessible. There are elevators. There are a few shops I could not get into with a mobility scooter because there was simply not enough room. Also, two of the bathrooms I went to did not have a wheelchair accessible bathroom and I had to try three different bathroom areas before I found one but even that was not particularly easy to get my mobility scooter in and out of. This is the main reason for the 4 stars, for a centre of this size, access should have been much easier.

Great stores and amazing food court with real restaurants. Are able to buy anything you need as a tourist including a huge supermarket. Location is across from train station/subway.

When I was told about this market my expectations were "soso" based on the very few pictures I was shown. If you are British then its highly likely you would class this event as a car boot sale or similar. For me, a market needs to meet other criterias and this place just didnt do it. 90% of the goods are second hand in my opinion. If you like charity shop/car boot goods then this is definitely up your street. No food vendors or alike to grab a bite to eat or sit down (I ended up under a tree with a snack that I brought with me). The sea is in view so I decided to walk heading towards to harbour to explore which lead me to the highway and that was a wrap for me😐 Made my way back to my accomodation.

After sightseeing in Belem until late afternoon, we sere starving when we got off the tram at Praca de Figueira (via Rossio Square). The food gods blessed us with Mercado Da Baixa! We stumbled into what looked like a large circus tent in the middle of the square and, to our delight, we were surrounded by food stalls with everything from cheeses and meats to fresh breads, to fruits and nuts to fruit juices and Sangria to amazing pastries, and much more. We shared a picnic table (checkered table cloth and all) with friendly Lisbon locals and pigged out on ham & cheese on fresh focaccia, marinated olives, fresh cherries, Sangria, and Belem-style pastries. We loved it so much that we ate there two more times during our 3-day stay in Lisbon.

Widely regarded as one of the best museums in all of Portugal, this museum is actually 2 buildings in an 18.5 acre park, easily accessible via the blue (azul) Metro line (Sao Sebastio stop). The Founder’s Collection includes works by Rembrandt, Rubens, Renoir, Monet, Degas, Manet, van Ruisdael, Cassatt and Gainsborough. The Modern Collection is considered to be the most complete collection of modern Portuguese art in the world. Admission is 10 euros, 50% reduction for ages 65+ (better than the discount offered by the Lisbon Card). The museum offers free WiFi and you can download and use a free guide to the collections on the Gulbenkian Museum App (free). Tip: Admission is free on Sundays from 2pm on.

We were here for the 360 degree panoramic view but had a brief look around but didn't do any shopping. It's a modern well maintained shopping centre with high end stores and a few eateries. Not really for me but if you are after some retail therapy then this might be up your street.

Visited foe the Pop Art Stars exhibition. Small but nicely laid out. Had well known works from Warhol, and Lichtenstein including the Marilyn Monroe screen print. Definitely worth a visit depending whats on.

Its near to the river and the Maat roof top which currently has Xavier Veilhan exhibition. So can combine with this and a nice walk along river.

My favorite mall in Chiado. I love to go to this mall whenever I am in Lisbon. It is always the same, neat and clean and Some good restaurant at first floor. Right in the city center. Always full of tourists. Some good make up brands.

Visited this market last sunday..easy to get to on red airport metro line, and get off at bela vista. Very large market with 100s of stalls. A very local market. Would need 2 to 3 hours to get around. All selling the simular stuff like house hold, fruit and veg, runners, shoes, clothes, handbags, and very nice underware. Great food stalls there too. Lots to choose from. We had kids with us aged 11 and 14. It was a bit too much for them in the crowds and they felt scared a lot. Lots of people pushing and shouting which is normal and ok for adults but can be a bit much for kids. Great experience and great for bargans. I loved it because i love the buzz of a market!

This is quite a large market split into 2 sections. one side is purely fruit and veg but the other section is the vast amount of stalls selling clothes and hardware goods. Lots of designer lookalike polo shirts selling for 10 euro. Haveto admit bought a fake Ralph polo which is good quality.
Very busy and a must see if in Carcavelos,

This is much more of a local shopping market than a touristic spot. What is may lack in convenience and creature comforts, it has fantastic food at reasonable prices. Some highlights are: The market bakery, which gets baked in every morning from all over Portugal, cannot be missed. In a small space the incredibly friendly owner will share knowledge of the sweet and savory treats that go beyond what you'll find in most places. Close by is a deli that features the amazing black-footed pig in an array of insanely tasty offerings. There cheese selection is not to be missed!
