We just finished our half day tour with Michael and to say it was awesome, is an understatement. Michael was absolutely fantastic - he picked us up in a Mercedes van and it was immaculate. We were stocked with water and plenty of AC. Athens is about 10 degrees warmer than it should be right now so the AC came in handy. We stopped at all of the major landmarks, including the Acropolis and Parthenon, Temple of Olympian Zeus, the modern Olympic stadium, Temple of Hephaestus, and the Ancient Agora. We were given plenty of time at each destination and Michael was on standby for as soon as we were finished. He even made a quick stop at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier just in time for the Changing of the Guards. This really elevated our Athens trip and we left extremely happy, having seen almost of all of the major landmarks in Athens!

A few tips for the first timers like us - (1) This is not a tour as you may commonly think. There is no tour guide. So once you are dropped off, you are on your own. (2) You must pay for entrance fees. I completely forgot and the tour operator was nice enough to get my tickets and I reimbursed them in cash. (3) Bring cash for tips! The minimum wage in Greece is extremely low and tips really make a difference. (4) Wear sunscreen! I am bright red as a result of a full day of exploration. And most importantly, (5) HAVE THE BEST TIME!

Panos is THE best guide ever! We had a perfect day with him. His knowledge of Athens and the sights and his engaging personality made the tour. We learned, laughed, toured and found a new friend in the process. Trust anything he suggests!!

Loved this 2 hour tour … our guide, Dimas, was wonderful. He kept us moving and providing just the right amount of information at the right time AND he was most interesting and with a fun sense of humor.

Wonderful, fun, relaxing. Denis and Pavlos are excellent hosts. The boat was big and comfortable. We went to 3 small islands. Agistri is small but cute. The second island, Moni, we don’t stop, we swim in the water and have lunch. The third island, Aegina, was big and you can walk to temple of Apollo. The food was great and plenty of it. A great day, I would do it again. It’s all day so be prepared for up to 10 hours away. The ride was smooth and calm.

My guide was Sophia, she was very knowledgeable and kindly took questions throughout the entire tour. The trip to Delphi was beautiful and entertaining, with Sophia's commentary on ancient Greek tales of heroes and of course Apollo and the Pythia!

We had an AMAZING time on this tour! Our guide, Kara, was fantastic. It was obvious that she was very knowledgeable and passionate about what she was teaching us. We learned so much. Not to mention, the Parthenon itself is breathtaking. We absolutely recommend going to the museum to learn more, which this tour included. We would do this tour again if we return to Athens.

A great taster of the Acropolis! Having never visited before, Dorina gave a great tour. It was enjoyable to have someone so knowledgable leading, she talked of medical development, etymology and just fab context to each sight. I booked the 2hr Acropolis only and was glad of this as I was ready for food before I visited the museum.

Fantastic tour guide who was very knowledgeable and kept things things entertaining for the entire trip. The time spent at each location was adequate as we didn't feel rushed but still covered plenty of ground. We received a map at the end with suggestions for where to go for meals, shopping, etc. Overall, this was enjoyed by kids and adults alike!

We had an amazing, full day in Athens seeing all the sites courtesy of our tour guide, Alex (via Elegant Greek Tours). Alex did a great job of timing the hot spots to avoid the crowds as much as possible, and the team was in touch with us well ahead of the tour to have us pre-book tickets at the Acropolis and museum to avoid the long lines. Alex picked us up in a beautiful, super clean private van right at the port, and we began our day strolling the Ancient Agora and seeing the Temple of Hephaestus. We then went to the Acropolis, skipped the line and walked up to view the stunning Parthenon, Erechtheion, Temple of Nike and Theatre of Dionysus. It's definitely an extremely crowded tourist spot, but Alex did a great job getting us there at a good time to avoid the larger bus groups. Afterwards, Alex drove us by several other highlights including the Panathenaic Stadium (site of the first modern Olympics in 1896), Olympieion (including the HUGE Temple of Zeus), the three temples of wisdom and then an unexpected stop to witness the changing of the guard where the movements of the guards are done to mimic those of horses. We then stopped at a local restaurant for lunch where we sampled as much authentic Athenian food as our stomachs could handle! Lastly, we wrapped up the day touring the Acropolis Museum which included a very educational video about the Acropolis, several of the original pieces and sculptures from the site and even a really cool lego replica of the entire Acropolis. We were so extremely pleased with the tour and glad we were able to visit so many sites in a single day / cruise stop. Highly recommend!

I had an insightful solo walking tour with Christina and Christos in Athens. Along the tour, I got to try really good Greek coffee at a place Christos knows to be a great place for it, followed by a vegan Moussaka at a restaurant Christos knows very well. The tour was the first thing that I did after arriving in Athens, since it I wanted a feel of the culture, the hidden gems and the historical locations at the on-set. The insight was very well executed by Christina and also with the help of Christos. Through my time in Athens, including prior to arriving and also while my stay in Santorini, Christina was helpful and available to answer any questions I had about places to visit. All in all, it was a very pleasant tour by a couple with an abundance of positive energy. I would certainly recommend booking a tour them. Thank you C&C.
