He shared lots of great facts and information as he drove us from site to site throughout the day. He even tweaked the schedule a bit to account for the inauguration happening so we could enjoy things in a seamless fashion. At the Acropolis, our friend had trouble walking but Antony knew how to get him assistance with a cart and elevator to see everything. Anthony took us to some small unusual places as well as the big common sights. Excellent driver. Anthony knew the perfect bar with shopping nearby. When we adjusted the itinerary, Antony accommodated perfectly and took us to more fabulous places. We saw the change of the guard at the palace. We saw Athens from the top of a hill. Mycenae was majestic, Napflio was quaint while Epidaurus was a well preserved journey back in time. Stoppage at Corinth was an added feature. The fact that there was no entrance fee to any of the sites on the day we visited was a bonus!
The lunch at Napflio was interesting…pity we couldn’t enjoy it much as our sense of comfort with cats is nowhere near the local levels!

- ByappoNew Braunfels, TX1 contributionThis was a last minute booking since the ferries were cancelled and I was looking for alternatives for sightseeing in Athens. Going to Cape Sounio was an easy choice as it is a short ride and able to see the coastal line on the way. Anthony our guide arrived on time, car was clean and he drove safe. Along the way he gave us some brief history. Luckily it didn’t rain today but it was still very cold, felt like -1 C. Wind was blowing fiercely but boy, it was a site to see up at the Temple of Poseidon. Although it is not as grand as Acropolis, you would understand why it was built there for Poseidon and the view didn’t disappoint. Anthony made a stop on our way back to town for lunch and came back promptly when we were done. We didn’t waste any time at all. We have never experienced such an amazing tour guide before. From the start he called to confirm our tour personally the day before, He explained everything in detail, he has a pure heart of gold and loves what he does we can really see it. He is so passionate and knowledgeable about everything there is to know about Greece and St. PAUL. He made this experience extra special. We really enjoyed being around him and did not want to leave. He even gave us all a little keepsake that was so beautifully wrapped and personalized. He really made sure that we were taken care of and made sure we truly enjoyed ourselves. Great way to get your bearings in the city: they will stop at places for as long as you want and tailor the tour to suit you. We even stopped for coffee on Plaka. Saw the Acropolis, both Agoras, the changing of the guard, and the temple of Zeus Olympian in a day and learned a wealth of information about Athens. It was an amazing tour with spectacular sites and stops throughout. Paddy, our driver, was wonderful and very knowledgeable of the areas and provided a most rewarding experience for us. He was very accomodating on this long tour and we made stops as requested and needed. Paddy is amazing.
Some of our stops included the ancient site of Delphi and the museum, and the Meteora / monasteries and much more. Our tour ended with a wonderful meal at a local restaurant. Paddy and this tour provided by Viator will provide us with wonderful memories of Greece. We thank them for the wonderful day and highly recommend the tour.
