We had an amazing, full day in Athens seeing all the sites courtesy of our tour guide, Alex (via Elegant Greek Tours). Alex did a great job of timing the hot spots to avoid the crowds as much as possible, and the team was in touch with us well ahead of the tour to have us pre-book tickets at the Acropolis and museum to avoid the long lines. Alex picked us up in a beautiful, super clean private van right at the port, and we began our day strolling the Ancient Agora and seeing the Temple of Hephaestus. We then went to the Acropolis, skipped the line and walked up to view the stunning Parthenon, Erechtheion, Temple of Nike and Theatre of Dionysus. It's definitely an extremely crowded tourist spot, but Alex did a great job getting us there at a good time to avoid the larger bus groups. Afterwards, Alex drove us by several other highlights including the Panathenaic Stadium (site of the first modern Olympics in 1896), Olympieion (including the HUGE Temple of Zeus), the three temples of wisdom and then an unexpected stop to witness the changing of the guard where the movements of the guards are done to mimic those of horses. We then stopped at a local restaurant for lunch where we sampled as much authentic Athenian food as our stomachs could handle! Lastly, we wrapped up the day touring the Acropolis Museum which included a very educational video about the Acropolis, several of the original pieces and sculptures from the site and even a really cool lego replica of the entire Acropolis. We were so extremely pleased with the tour and glad we were able to visit so many sites in a single day / cruise stop. Highly recommend!

Dimon was amazing. Very knowledgeable and definitely helpful with the rest of my trip. He went out of his way for us. If I ever make it back I definitely will want him.

Nick our guide was excellent, gave great insights into the ministry of Apostle Paul. It was wonderful and blessed to walk the way, see the areas where Paul preached and stayed. Nick was an extremely kind gentleman especially that I travelled with my kids and he took extra care of my little one. His cartoony way of talking like Donald
Duck was so entertaining for my kids. Thank you Nick for the wonderful trip with you.

From the moment Manos picked us up, we knew we were on an exceptional tour. He explained his plan for us taking into consideration a teenager, two mobility challenged, two seniors and parents of teen. He was kind, considerate, well organized, supplied with snacks and beverages in his immaculate van.
Our day flew by we listened to his commentary…history…anecdotes..immense pride in his county…as Manos weaved through congested streets with ease and expertise.
Our planned course took us to all the highlights with ample time digest the sights and sounds and take photos. Manos took us to prime locations to view monuments and the changing of the guard at the presidential palace.
Our tour ended with a delectable feast of seafood, meats, salads and every traditional food one would hope to sample at a traditional Greek restaurant.
Manos joined our table and enchanted us with stories of his hopes, dreams, and knowledge of his love of his country and his career in tourism.
Without a doubt, an outstanding tour given by a man whose heart and soul is one with his country and the desire for all his guests to feel welcomed. We give him our gratitude for an amazing experience.

Amazing tour! Our tour guide, Athena, is very nice and explains all the spots in detail.
The coach bus is nice, and everything is great, especially with the hotel pick-up.
The time control of the whole tour is great.

Very well organized cruise managed by extremely friendly and competent crew. Kostas and Denis are great hosts apart from being competent sailors. The boat was clean, sailing was smooth, fresh food cooked by Kostas and Denis was delicious and we had sufficient drinks on board. This particular cruise was recommended by another friend who had good experience previously; our group of twelve too was delighted

What an amazing site! The drive up to Delphi and the views were worth the trip. Our guide, Costas, added to our experience as he carefully explained the history of the world in ancient times and how the Oracle influenced its leaders as well as how modern technology acknowledged what occured there thousands of years ago. It was a well-run day trip.

Amazing trip! Definitely recommend! Our tour guide provided thorough information throughout the trip, was incredibly knowledgeable, and she had the sweetest and gentle personality. Our driver was careful, friendly, and very punctual. The bus was clean, premium, and well equipped (adjustable air above the seats, overhead bins for bags, and USB chargers near the legs. The break at the Corinth Canal was perfect for a bathroom break as well as getting pictures of the canal. The longest part of the ride without stops is 2 hours (on the way back to Athens). The tour guide helped us visualize what Ancient Corinth could’ve looked like while touring the site. Nafplio was completely amazing, and I wish we would’ve had a few more hours there! Beautiful and charming! Being able to walk through the city, by the gulf shore, and browse the seemingly endless choices of great restaurants/cafes was a wonderful end to the day!!

we took the tour to Delphi. Our guide Effie was clearly a passionate history buff. Her knowledge of Delphi was exhaustive and she articulated the information very well, even minute details of the carvings and structures. This is what made our Delphi trip memorable.

Great tour! Lily shared helpful info on the way there and back, and she made a lunch reservation in Delphi for our group because it was very, very busy due to the Economic Forum. (Lunch was fantastic and very reasonable.)

Bill was also a great driver - very calm and patient during rush hour.

We enjoyed Theodore’s tour through Delphi. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable.

Lastly, we appreciated being in a smaller (12 people) group.

Lily, Bill and Theodore - thank you!

The trip from Athens to Meteora is extremely uncomfortable (outside temperature of 30C but bus extremely hot as driver never engaged AC).

Once you survive the trip up the local guides are wonderful, personable and knowledgeable. The monasteries are amazing! The rock formations extremely impressive.

Ride back to Athens unremarkable because sleep is the order of the evening/night.

Very good trip but could be great with a tweak to procedure on the ride from Athens to Meteora.

We had an amazing time seeing what was once considered to be the center of the earth, and would highly recommend using Sights of Athens to do it. Joanna our tour guide was a doll, she explained so much of the history of Greece and Greek mythology throughout the drive and during the trip which helped prepare us for what we were about to encounter. The ruins were incredible and the virtual guide explained everything every step of the way.

In 12 hours, you’ll get to see three islands which is great. 1-1.30 hours per island, which is enough if you just want to walk around and visit the cafés and markets. If you want to spend time in the churches and museums the time might not be enough. The cruise offers tours on the islands - only Aegina is worth it for the view and one church. The other two are unnecessary.

Cruise is clean and convenient. The port is most easily accessed by cab from the closest metro or from your stay. Food on board is tasty and appropriately priced. The crew will keep trying to sell you stuff - photographs that they’ll take of you, VIP lounge, stuff from their store and different tours. VIP lounge is not worth it and you can get the stuff from the store on the islands at a cheaper price.

Overall good experience. Worth the money.
