Nadia took us to a monastery, home village, wine tasting and an an amazing lunch, topped with some amazing stops to enjoys the fabulous island views... all places we would have gone without her. She is great company, energetic, full of knowledge and facts and Id recommend this or any other trip with her. - kld26London, UK56 contributionsHad a brilliant evening visiting numerous spots around south and south West Lefkada - delicious wines to taste and so much gorgeous scenery. Absolutely loved visiting the monastery and shopping for jam and olive oil. George is a fabulous guide and all round good guy - it was an absolute pleasure to get to know him (especially as he's a fellow cat lover!). Tiny little harbour not enough room to dock for the night as only enough room for about 9 yachts
We moored out in the bay though which was stunning. I missed the monastery as I had no idea what they were saying.
I told the tour guide after and she did her best to give me a few updates for the rest of the tour in English but no where near what the rest of the groups were getting. At lunch time there were two long tables 1 for each party of Austrians and Germans and I was left on a table by myself until an Austrian lady moved my table to hers.
The trip stated 5hrs which was going to be long enough in languages I didn’t understand but was actually 7.5hrs In total. The time actually spent wandering alone in Lefkada town was just half an hour which was the best bit but way to short!

Never stopped at Port Katsiki at all and was given now reason why. Weather was perfect, so couldn’t have been that.
The information was scant, not clear and not loud enough due to so many people chatting. We even got back 35 minutes early.
Pros: Bar and food, clean and toilets were clean. Very steady and plenty of room.
Cons: Not stopping as planned, rushed at Egremni, islands and points of interest not well explained, long time just sitting on a boat looking at where you could stop.
We had hoped to get on three beaches and visit Fiscardo, but we only did some of that. Skipped Porto Katsiki.
If you like sitting on a boat just looking for a few hours, it’s good. The bikes are fantastic, easy to ride, even up the hills. The stops are perfectly timed to just before you think you need them. The visit to the monastery is well worth the ride. We learned alot about the cultivation of olives, the production of high quality olive oil and its nutritional value. The olive oil tasting was an excellent lesson in choosing good olive oil, and how to recognise the bad. The whole place is calm, natural and small scale, and there's no hard sales pitch or exit through the gift shop, though if you want to buy his oil, you can order it from the next harvest.
