This cathedral is an amazing building and the views of Reykjavik for the top of the steeple is fantastic and surprising for the colorful rows of buildings and the backdrop of sea, mountains, snow and sky.

... volcanoes & geological phenomenal is fun for younger as for older people :) Even the restaurant on the 5th floor (in the glass dome) was excellent and a great addition to our visit where there's a stunning view.

The drive across snow capped mountain are so emotionally beautiful with fresh soft snow all across the 30 min ride with foggy sights strewn along the pass.

We rode at walk and tolt, a gentle ride over astonishingly beautiful terrain -- burial mounds, black beaches, astonishing views of the fjords.
Staff was very friendly and we had a really great time together with amazing view and nature.

Climb the path that leads through the houses over the bridge from the Petrie station to get the great view from the church - the church was shut for me but that gave me the chance to head northeast up the two Hill...
Vik church is a traditional Icelandinc Church but I would definitely recommend the place for nice views of the VIK village and the vik shore.
The Statue of Leif Eiriksson Reykjavik
From the statue you gets wonderful views of the surrounding area.
It's a great representation of Leif Eiriksson and is located in the plaza area in front of the landmark church.
