    Hurst Castle
    It was a lovely day out my partner 7 an 14 year old and friends .the sun was shining and not to cold . It was a shame that half of the castle had been closed off , but there was a good portion of the castle you could explore 🙂

    Sublime seafront walk
    Stunningly beautiful walk on a crisp sunny morning in September.
    Bring binoculars if you enjoy bird spotting as lots of wading birds in the old salt beds.
    We think we spotted either a Tempest or Hawker Sea Fury plane being put through its paces in the distance over the sea which was an added bonus!

    Great for kids.
    Wetsuit hire £5
    Plenty of lifeguards
    Everything gets wet in changing area so be prepared to go home in wet clothes.

    Good service
    Used Whitelink Ferries to get to the IOW from Lymington in Hampshire. Ticket purchase was simple and straight forward. Quick to board. Onboard service was ok for the short crossing.

    Enhances Lymington for locals and visitors
    Called in today to view the Lymington High Street exhibition- past, present and future. So many interesting facts, pictures and anecdotes that go unnoticed in everyday life in this lovely town of ours.
    Exhibition is just on for a matter of weeks but sincerely hope a permanent site will be made for this important documentation of Lymington.
    This little gem of a museum with its regular exhibitions is well worth a couple of hours of your time.

    Nice walk out to Hurst Castle from Milford on Sea
    We recently visited there and parked up in Milford on Sea at the Lighthouse Restaurant car park and walked out to the castle.
    The walk is all on pebbles, whether compacted or deep. It's okay for humans, but our eldest dog struggled with that.
    Great views out to the Isle of Wight and the Needles.

    Great views
    This is a great place for wildlife particularly waders. There are good walking paths and circular routes . Will definitely go back

    Our go to place
    Best marina on the Solent , great staff and top facilities .

    Coupled with the Have bar which serves such good food .

    Coffee and Cake
    Stopped at this charming little place for coffee and cake. A very nice selection of cakes and muffins. Fair warning...The coffee will put hair on your chest! My husband loves his coffee strong, but I'm a weaker soul. However, it was good coffee and the lemon and poppy seed muffins were light and favourful.

    I will agree with a previous rreview in finding the cheese scone way too sweet. Sugar and cheese? It's a bit of a shame in that the texture of the scone was excellent and the portion very generous.

    A park for all
    Pleasant park, and one we frequently visit with friends whilst in Lymington.
    The Woodside cafe is also worth a stop off for drinks and a bacon roll on a Sunday morning!

    Nice village
    Just a few shops but everything you could need. Short walk from Lytton Lawn campsite. Then walk on to the beach or picturesque Keyhaven.

    Nice little harbour and shops
    Had a nice morning here looking in the shops and walking around the harbour. Worth a visit and if you have children doing some crabbing.

    Attention to detail and great quality
    I use this gallery for all my framing services for their quality and attention to detail. The time taken to help and guide the correct borders and frames is not rushed and the owner only wants you to be happy with your choice. We recently had a limited large polaroid framed with uv protection glass and it looks stunning. very pleased.

    Imagination needed
    There are certainly historic remnants here as seen in the landscape, however without the signs or the wonder of Google these would lie missed by many!
    Those who enjoy walking where are ancestors stood should visit for a while and enjoy the peace wondering about those from long ago.

    Good "Goodall's Farm"
    There was plenty of strawberries which was arranged in two different sections. One was on ground level, other was raised from ground. Not sure whether they are of different types. However they both tasted very delicious.
    Raspberries were also available in plenty. Buy the Cherries were almost finished.
    All these were really delicious. Kids really enjoyed plucking it. Overall It was worth visiting the Goodall farm.

    Black currant also available but n a very small area and in quantity.

    The staffs were really friendly.
