Can't believe anyone wrote bad reviews about this experience. It was so much fun and excellent value for money even in NZ$ The wine flowed and delicious bites to eat whilst having fun making then eating the pasta. Teacher was fantastic and full of energy we definitely recommend anyone to do this activity!

Antonella was a wonderful, informative guide who made sure we had a great tour of the history and unique tastes of Lecce. 5 food stops were always ready for us, you won’t need dinner.
3 hrs, 3 stops savory, 2 stops sweet; ancient history of southern Italy.

If the city of Lecce is not beautiful enough, then to have the story and meaning behind its architecture adds a whole wonderful layer to any stay in Lecce. The thoroughly enjoyable Lorenzo provides the traveller a good understanding of its Baroque art and how its impact was used by the church and the wealthy to inspire and impress.
Lorenzo’s humour ensures you appreciate all that he has to say.
    A most highly rated experience.

There are very few day trip excursions available in the region and I'm so glad I stumbled on this experience! Marco was very sweet and knowledgeable, with great English. This is a great way to see the rural countryside and learn more about the deep culture of this region. Perfect for a solo traveler like myself who enjoys off the beaten path experiences and going deeper than the surface level of a destination. We visited spots I never would've known to visit and it would've been nearly impossible to do this trip without a guide.

The bikes are comfortable and in perfect condition. The e-bike function makes the trip more accessible for those that may be less athletic. He provides a panier bike bag that attaches to the side of the backend, so no need to bother with bringing a backpack to carry things.

The itinerary is tight, so there isn't always time to stop and take photos. If you have a Go-pro, that would be a great way to capture more of the landscape. Mosquito repellent would be a good idea !

Avid cyclists should ask Marco about the other regional tours he offers. Thank you for an unforgettable experience, Marco! 🫶🏼

Enrica was a wonderful guide. Born and bred in Lecce her knowledge was impeccable.
The tour starts with a coffee and finishes with a glass of wine.
    I was impressed.

This was one of the best tours of our South Italy trip. Lecce was a great place, and it was even greater with the understanding in history and detail, which made possible by our knowledgeable guide, Ilenia.
She led our walk through many interesting places and even went beyond our expectations by going into some churches which, as I understood, was not previously included in our tour. It was truly enjoyable and informative.

We had the most incredible time during our sunset tour. Mauricio, our guide, was so passionate about the history of Rudiae and extremely knowledgeable. It was so fascinating to see the lost city and learn all about it and seeing it in the dark really gave it a new perspective. I would highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Lecce!
    Thank you Mauricio!

My fiancé and I had such a special evening at this wonderful class. We were welcomed into a beautiful courtyard before watching Italian women with 40+ years experience make the dough for pasta. They guided us on kneading techniques with the dough and then taught us to make Orchiette then Macaroni.
This was followed by wine and bruschetta, you could watch the pasta be cooked if you wanted, then we sat down to eat!
We made friends at the table who we went for wine with after, it was so lovely 🥹

We had a wonderful time during our pasta and tiramisu class in Lecce! We learned how to create two local pasta dishes, and our lovely chef used the pasta we made to cook two delicious family recipes. Our host/Cesarina was kind and patient as we learned to make cavatelli and orecchiette. She also prepared 3 delightful appetizers for us to taste while we waited for the pasta dishes to be cooked and assembled. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend a tour with Sara to see get your bearings when you arrive in the beautiful city of Lecce. She has a in depth knowledge of the area and it's history. She deliverers the information in a fun and enthusiastic way. Sara is also kind enough to offer get advice on where to eat and drink. We followed her advice to a coffee shop and cocktail bar and they were great tips.

The 2 hours guided tour was a very nice and easy way to get around and visit the main sights in Lecce historical town - especially during hot weather. We started at 10 am and had a cafe leccese and a pasticchio. We were a group of 5, bikes were good, only cycling could have been more. Our guide Mattia did an excellent job - he gave a lot of interesting information about town and history and he was kind and very patient. Finding the office can be a bit tricky so have your phone or good map with you. Highly recommended!

Alberobello is a beautiful little village with interesting houses. There are lots of places to eat and drink but lots of tourists as well in the narrow streets. This does not stop you walking through, taking photographs and soaking up the pretty scenery. Ostuni is also worth a visit with small narrow streets as is the larger seaside town of Polignano to sample a ‘special coffee’ Stefano spoke exceptionally good English and was very knowledgeable as our guide. I would recommend this tour to all.

Stefano’s wine tour was exceptional. I’ve been on wine tours throughout France, Italy and Spain, and what distinguishes the best guides from others is passion and expertise. It’s not a glorified driver, someone who drops you off from winery to winery and has the winery do their own spiel. Stefano is everything you’d want from a guide: A wine professional (He has a PhD in biochemistry), a wine enthusiast (He tastes every wine with you to give you his own tasting notes), a wine expert (He shares all the history and context of wines), and, most uniquely, a wine INSIDER. Every place we went, he walked me around freely, showing off every part of the process at a small winery, large winery, and co-op winery in villages you wouldn’t know to visit if you didn’t have a guide.

I was the only one on the tour this day, as 2 others cancelled last minute, but Stefano still ran the tour. Other guides, or large companies, would not do this. I am so thankful for his hospitality as well: He prepared appetizer bites including an incredible mozzarella local to his neighborhood.

He even has a wine shop in town, where he invited me after to do more tasting with other visitors.

Don’t hesitate to work with Stefano if you’re serious about wine and learning more about what makes Salento wines unique.
