- Jennifer MHedge End, UK2 contributionsPalazzo Farnese is amazing. Brilliant frescoes cover the walls and the Royal staircase is stunning. I have never seen anything like this before. And everything went extremely smoothly. We were picked up by a white Mercedes with a very knowledgeable and helpful driver _ Andrea. He told us all about the history of the Farnese Palace and about the countrydide we travelled through. This included crops grown, an Etruscan aqeduct, villas passed and a lake. As much of Viterbo was closed due to an upcoming public holiday he offered us a great alternative_ a visit to the Etruscan tombs at Tarquinia_ a UNESCO world heritage site. And for lunch he took us to a small restaurant serving locally produced food.

- Alyssa BSeattle, WA12 contributionsOverall a very interesting tour and fascinating day. You spend a lot of time driving between locations. Our guide was a little disappointing - she had only done the tour twice and was lacking in some insider knowledge and was hard to follow at times. It also always seemed like we were running late and had to rush. It was not clear that while you stop for lunch it is not included in the tour ticket price.
