Definitely worth a visit for those who love all things to do with flight but even this Mama who isn’t overly interested found it a pretty neat place to visit. Many planes/helicopters to check out; they have a really vast collection. The volunteers we dealt with were knowledgeable and welcoming. Admission is donation based. We spent about an hour but you could definitely spend more time to look through everything in detail. The museum was clean and well organized. There is access to a public bathroom and a gift shop with more model kits than can be counted.

The Airlane Golf Course is a great 9 hole course near the Halifax International Airport. The only real negative is that they don’t take reservations so you may have wait if it’s busy. The greens are in great shape. The price is VERY reasonable. If you need a cart you need to call in advance. They have pull cart rentals as well. They have a 19th Hole . The menu is limited but everything is yummy!

You'll need to know this information, it will help.....
First, call the day before your trip to make sure they have what seafood you want (they don't always have what's on their website). Pick a time you want to pick it up and place your order.
Second, arrive to the airport before your pickup time to make sure it's ready incase they are super busy (the staff are great at accommodating you).
Third, pick your lobsters yourself if you can (fresh live if that's the route your going), that way you able to see what your getting. I suggest picking males as they have the bigger claws :).
Forth, they will package your seafood in the box for you and they do a great job! We had several lobsters, lobster meat and lobster tails, and all fit in the large box for the plane ride home. They pack it with live lobsters on the bottom wrapped in damp paper towels to keep their gills wet during transport on the plane, they then pack frozen peas on top so they stay cool and not melt water all inside your box. Then they close it up and send you on your way!
Keep in mind this is your carry on, or at least it was for me. I got the large box and it fit very nicely under the seat in front of me.
Our trip from the time they got in the box till they went in the fridge when we got home was 6hrs. Once i got home i just put the whole box in the fridge after i took the frozen lobster meat and tails out and put that in a separate freezer.
We then had the fresh lobster the next day and they were still very much alive!! Total time from tank to table was 12hrs, but I'm sure they would keep much longer. Don't panic if you open the box when you get home and they aren't looking alive. Once you take them our they are flopping around.
Best lobster i had in my life, thanks Clearwater, your staff and your product was amazing!

One thing to remember is they aren't open 24-7, i think they close at 5:30pm so keep that in mind.
