The senior room.pupils of Attymass National School throughly enjoyed their visit to the Jackie Clarke Museum in May. They received a great welcome and Celine Brenann delivered a very educational and informative presentation to the pupils. Thank you to all the team there .

The Connacht Whiskey Company is a small independant Distillery which was founded just a few years ago. We got a very warm welcome on a rainy day and were lucky to have a very nice group on our tour. The tasting turned in something of a cozy pub "session" and we stayed way longer than the tasting actually lasted.

A very well preserved friary with views of the river Moy. The many stone stair cases made it enjoyable to explore.

Not only is the well incredible. You
Must look at the tree that is growing from the roof. The tree is not coming out of the ground. You will not see a trunk. It is growing from within the roof structure. They say Mother Mary appeared here. If there is any place in this earth she would appear, it would be here!

I was here for Sunday morning Mass (which was at 10.30 (the sign says 11!). We were warmly welcomed and guided to available seats by the friendly and helpful stewards.
The signing and music at Mass was uplifting. Thank you.
The church has a wonderful large stained glass window behind the sanctuary which adds light and life to the entire building.

I couldn't disagree more with the previous review, I visited this week and found the centre to be fantastic with lots to see and do!

On arrival we were given a tour which told the story of Father Peyton. Nicki (who gave the tour) was fantastic. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to view the 30-minute video of his story but will definitely return to do so.

There is a beautiful café and you can walk the gardens which are very picturesque, I believe there is ongoing works there encorporarating the stations of the cross, and before the café there is an area where you can purchase souvenirs, local books and religious items.

On a Tuesday there is a community group that visits, so if you are seeking a quiet visit its best to go on a day outside of this. During the summer months there are events for Irish traditional music, and the centre is a great base for walking the Attymass Loop Walk.

The centre forms part of Mayo's unique religious heritage, alongside Ballintubber Abbey, Knock Shrine and Croagh Patrick. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area!

Lovely clean park with lots of attractions. From very young children to youth - everyone will be happy. In addition, multiple sports playgrounds and a nice river view

While holidaying in Belderrig we noticed the Tir Saile (sculpture trail) road signs and started checking them out. We soon learned that several of the original 14 sculptures have been removed or fallen into neglect. At the same time, new sculptures have been added as part of the Spirit of Place project. Sadly the Tir Saile website and (frustratingly) road signs have not been updated accordingly. The sign to the "Wind Trees" site sends the unwary visitor down a narrow hillside farm track. Over the course of a week we visited the locations listed on the website and found 14 sculptures remaining in various states of repair. Well worth visiting but an updated guide would be extremely useful!
