- Jens_OlesenLondon, UK123 contributionsHands down, the best shop on the island. I can honestly say my entire living room is full of Dimitra’s creations because they’re just brilliant. See for yourself- and thank me later!Written August 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 900tricia900London, UK9 contributionsA tranquil and beautiful place to visit.
No direct bus service to it if you don't have a car, but you can get there via car, bike or taxi, or walk to it from Hora (regular bus service between Hora and Skala).Written September 17, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Rented a scooter for the day for about $15 USD - helmets provided. Leo truly cares about the safety of his customers and is so friendly. He mapped out our day of where he recommended going and even gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations for later. We had the best day seeing the beaches of Patmos and eating incredible food.Written October 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rodders1956Ascot, England, United Kingdom46 contributionsWhat a great company. Two brothers who were delightful and very helpful. Phoned in the morning and explained that my husband would have trouble reaching them due to mobility issues. The next thing my husband was picked up from the hotel and taken to their office. The same after we'd finished with the car hire he was dropped off back at the hotel. It's not far to walk to but if you're out of the main town they will come and get you. What fantastic service. Highly recommend.Written July 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- vulcanpoodle123Athens, Greece81 contributionsExcellent dinner here. The lamb was the best since the rooftop at the Grande Bretagne hotel in Athens, the french fries the best I've had in Greece, properly cooked, lovely garden table, excellent service and fair price. - EllieAthens, Greece5 contributionsWhen visiting the picturesque island of Patmos, a trip aboard the tour boat Elpida is an absolute must. This daily excursion offers an unforgettable journey to the charming small islands of Arkious, Marathi, and other hidden gems in the Aegean Sea.
From the moment you step on board Elpida, it's clear that safety is a top priority. The boat is well-maintained and equipped with modern safety gear, ensuring a worry-free experience. The knowledgeable and friendly crew, esp Dimitris conduct a thorough safety briefing before departure, providing peace of mind for all passengers.
Comfort on Elpida is unparalleled. The spacious deck offers plenty of seating, allowing passengers to relax and enjoy the stunning views. There's ample shade for those who prefer to stay out of the sun, and cozy spots for sunbathers.
The journey is as entertaining as it is scenic. The crew’s enthusiasm is infectious, and their local knowledge adds a rich layer of storytelling to the trip. The stops at various islands offer opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and exploring secluded beaches.
Elpida’s itinerary is thoughtfully planned, allowing enough time at each stop to fully enjoy the unique charm of each island. Whether it’s the tranquil beauty of Arkious or the inviting waters of Marathi, each destination has something special to offer. Onboard, there's often lively music, and the crew frequently shares insights about the region’s history and culture, making the trip educational as well as fun.
The tour boat Elpida offers an exceptional way to explore the lesser-known islands near Patmos. The combination of safety, comfort, and fun makes it an experience not to be missed. The stunning scenery, crystal-clear waters, and the friendly, professional crew ensure that every passenger leaves with cherished memories.
If you're in Patmos, do yourself a favor and book a trip on Elpida. It’s a delightful adventure that captures the essence of the Aegean’s natural beauty and charm.
