For a luxurious swim in the sea, take a private speedboat trip to Gamboa Beach, visiting the sandbanks and having lunch at Praia Linda. Look for Fabio on Instagram, lanchapraiadogamboa2, new vessel and experienced sailor.

“Morro de São Paulo” is a district of Cairu – Bahia. Located in “Ilha de Tinharé”. You can get there by boat or air taxi, but by airplane is so expensive. To go by boat, you can go on board on following places: Salvador, Valença or “curral”. “Curral” is a pier near Valença airport. “Morro de São Paulo” is a calm, amazing and relaxing place. There you can visit and stay at the following beaches: first beach, second beach, third beach or fourth beach. You can go scuba diving to see the marine life, walk on the seashore, visit the church of “Nossa Senhora da Luz”, jump off the zip line or take boat trips to other beaches. The night is very busy, all the shops are open, and in the restaurants have live shows, it’s very cool.
When I visited “Morro de São Paulo” with my wife, I liked it a lot and we really enjoyed it. We stayed at the second beach in the hotel in front of the sea, it’s wonderful to wake up and see the sea. There are some restaurant options, some with a more affordable price and some more expensive. There are many food options to choose from, but I recommend the region’s typical food, they are very tasty.
I recommend you wake up early to enjoy the days better. You can take a tour to the “Ilha de Tinharé” and to the “Ilha de Boipeba”. For this, you can look for more information with the tourist guides available on the beaches. The tour usually lasts an entire day, but it will be a wonderful day. So, I also recommend the trip to “Morro de São Paulo” for anyone who is looking for peace and nature. There, you will relax and have a lot of fun.

The highlight of Garoua beach are the floating bars. Nice, clean, accommodating. Excellent clams, great pepper sauce, the choices of beer is limited, but who cares. Little floating table to hangout and nice, simple but friendly service. You won’t be disappointed. Great sunset!

It's a short but steep walk through the very humid and hot forest up to the lighthouse. It's worth it but make sure to drink lots of water. The view is wonderful and if you dare you can descend tirolesa way to first beach!

"Morro de São Paulo" is an island located in “Arquipélago de Tinharé”, “Cairu” city. The only way to go to “Morro” is by boat because It isn't possible to arrive by car. So, you can arrive there by crossing on "Valença" City or "Cairu" City. There is a fee to enter in the island. It's about U$ 4.The best time to know “Morro de São Paulo” is between the months September and March, period of high season. Although the prices of many things are high, it's worth to invest time and money to appreciate that paradise.

When I went to "Morro de São Paulo" with my ex boyfriend and his family, We visited the "Nossa Senhora da Luz" Church, I knew the "Forte do Morro" and "Portalò" attractions and I crossed over to the other side of the First Beach by zip line too. If you like busy nights, you can have fun on the "Toca do Morcego" and "Pulsar Disco". During the day, you can wander on the natural reserve and you can also to know the historical Lighthouse on the island.

Around the main square, the First Beach and the Second one, you have a big variety of restaurants (Italians, Japaneses and Brazilians food), pubs and things for eating, drinking and having fun. If you wish to stay more time, I recommend you the hotels on the third Beach, because its cheaper. It's important to warn you that it's forbidden to throw trash on the Beaches. I recommend you also take care with some places around the Beaches because of the variation of the tide. I really loved the experience.

Many thanks indeed to a friend who recommended us this winning combination.
Salvador, along with Rio, is deservingly the most popular attractions in Brazil.
What most people don´t know is that just 60 km southwest of Salvador there´s this paradise lost - Morro de São Paulo, in the northernmost tip of Tinharé Island. It’s reachable only by boat or plane. Out of adventurous spirit we chose the rooftop of a bumpy speedboat or lancha (if you are prone to seasickness you may prefer the larger catamaran, I guess they are steadier, both are two-hour rides). Don’t be afraid of the steep road from the pier, locals will carry your luggage to the pousada, and welcome to a paradise with sand and gravel streets and no car traffic. There are four beaches stretching over a mile, numbered from north to south: First, Second, etc., equally wonderful for a stroll by day and night. Then there’s this flat of rocks in front of Segunda. At a certain tide level, when waves hit, they compress the air and water beneath the rocks and up through holes, and there you have, hundreds of geyser-like air/water jets. We spent a week, so there was plenty of time for strolling along the less visited western (towards Gamboa village) and eastern (towards the airport strip) boards of the island.

This fort is just about to be ready for accepting visitors after some time of renovation, situated just where the boats docks.
