What travellers are saying
- Jean H3 contributionsWhat an impressive sanctuary!! The animals are well cared-for, and have plenty of room to roam. Lots of koalas to see, and kangaroos to pet and feed! Plus, we enjoyed seeing a number of other animals and native birds.
Lone Pine was one of the places we loved most on our trip through Australia. It's definitely a "must see" for anyone visiting Brisbane!Written December 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Elaine R2 contributionsWe stayed in brisbane for 4 days before travelling back to England. Our family from coffs Harbour stayed with us for the first 2 nights. We travelled by city cats on several occasions finding staff very pleasant and happy to help. I lost my phone on the second day and I was a witts end looking all over I went back to southbank and asked a member of staff if I'd lost it on board one of the ferry's. He was extremely helpful my daughter in law kept calling my number and a member of staff answered we were extatic. We arranged to go to south bank for a set time and a staff member Steve walked over with my phone . 1 am 1 happy lady 😃 thank you ElaineWritten January 14, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kevichiiMelbourne, Australia36 contributionsMount Coot-tha Summit Lookout offers a fantastic panoramic view of Brisbane City, making it a great spot for a quick visit or photo opportunity. There’s also a cafe if you want to grab a bite or a drink. We didn’t stay long, as there isn’t much else to do apart from enjoying the view, but it’s definitely worth a stop!Written January 2, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Franz A44 contributionsWe went during The Enchanted Gardens exhibition and it was a wonderful experience. The garden is beautiful when lit up at night and there are many Instagram-worthy features. The garden is walking distance from the CBD, but is also accessible via public transport, with Roma Street train station next door. Fantastic place to admire nature or for a bit of exercise and relaxation.Written January 8, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pablo SBrisbane, Australia2 contributionsI've been there for the third time yesterday. Every time I come I find a beautiful new feature that I hadn't noticed before. This time it was the Tropical Dome. I don't want to spoil it, I'll just tell you: don't miss it! Quite a sensorial experience! Also don't miss the Japanese gardens and Bonsai display. Fantastic! I recommend going as soon as it opens when it's not very crowded. 😄Written January 3, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan LBunbury, Australia8,887 contributionsOutstanding ferry service on the Brisbane River and service the CBD, Southbank and Kangaroo Point and its free. KittyKats are catamaran type ferries with a 60-passenger capacity, very popular in the mornings and late afternoons. We had learnt from our previous visit and waited until late morning before venturing to the ferry port at Holman Street.Written June 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Happy TravellerSydney, Australia9,149 contributionsWe visited Brisbane as part of a Cruise. We were dropped off by bus very close to the gardens in the city, and we thought we’d have a stroll along the waterway. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and quite extensive and quite different plants that are stunning and we enjoyed the day very much., then we walked across one of the many bridges and enjoyed that side of Brisbane as wellWritten December 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ItchyFeetCamarillo, CA11,800 contributionsThis was just a couple blocks from the W hotel that we stayed at W while in Brisbane. It’s immediately next to the City Hall and King George Square. There are lots of shops and food options here. Interesting for us is that a lot of the stores were American stores and brands. There’s definitely a lot of American influence in the Australian cities. This a nice place to walk around looking in store and have a bite to eat. We did this on the morning that we were leaving on a redeye flight back to the states so we didn’t spend as much time here as we probably would have liked to.Written November 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
