- mcolt06London, Canada317 contributionsThe climb was not as technical as I thought it would be based on what I've read, but it definitely requires a measure of strength, stamina, and a large share of deep breaths! Amazing climb with a gorgeous sunrise at the top. - ferb06Ibarra, Ecuador848 contributionsThis road is one of the most special ones in Ecuador. One of my favourites!! You can observe the wonderful Chimborazo snow-capped volcano, the green hills with the local crops and then the amazing dessert-like volcanic land, which it seems you are on Mars and then you see the beautiful vicunas walking through the moorlands, harvesting and running freely, looking up to the volcano. Just amazing!!Written May 27, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ferb06Ibarra, Ecuador848 contributionsThis place visited by locals, there are beautiful views and a little lake where you can admire surrounded by a peaceful ambience. Ideal to visit with family and small children, they will love this place!
There are local horses to rent and do the loop of the small lake, ideal for children, also you find a playground with slides that are the best attraction for children.
Outside Las Cochas there is a small family-run cafe called "La Guilema", this place is ideal for a hot chocolate or coffee, sandwiches and fresh fruit juice. You can stop after the fun time at Las Cochas!Written May 27, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The building is in the shape of a guitar and that shape becomes more obvious as you walk around on the rooftop. The roof is decorated to look like the top of a guitar. The views from there are spectacular looking over the city and surroundings.
Inside the museum are several floors showcasing the costumes worn during the Carnaval celebration, as well as pictures detailing the history the celebration. Several interactive exhibits and many photo opportunities throughout. Staff were friendly and some spoke a bit of English (the day we were there).
If you are in Guaranda this museum should be added to your list of places to see.Written November 1, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
