- Jeffry bEssendon, Australia13,734 contributionsLarge shopping centers such as Eastland are a magnet for shoppers. Eastland serves the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Ringwood, not so on ago, was a semi-rural area. In recent years, it has become a prized portion of Melbourne's outer suburbs, full of houses. Eastland has many retail outlets which appeal to shoppers. The restaurants are popular, you can shop and eat.Written January 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeffry bEssendon, Australia13,734 contributionsThe Ringwood Library has been updated, it is a modern facility next to the Eastland Shopping Center. It also accommodates Maroondah City Council offices. The library is a good place to catch up on the news, or to use your laptop. The cafe is popular, and the library is a quiet place for students to study.Written January 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robert PMelbourne, Australia49 contributionsSmall well maintained park off Wonga road. Good walking paths around small lake and great playground for children. BBQs, toilets and shelters can make it busy on weekends but plenty of lawn space for picnics. Off lead for dogs apart from near playground and my dog’s second back yard. Side path leads to bush park and access to Parkwood dog park.Written October 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ulric2016Melbourne, Australia137 contributionsMy boys used to go to Crocs in Knox until it close. We tried this location due to the cold spring weather.
The positives:
1) undercover parking
2) easy access for everyone, there is a lift to the first floor entry
3) *much* bigger than Knox
4) more play areas and more slides (6 total)
Lots of tables with room to get around.
5) the tables next to the windows overlooked rows of gum trees. A very picturesque scene.
The negatives:
1) once there’s a crowd of people in here, the noise levels are quite high but I guess that may be an indication of how much fun the children were having.
2) the disabled toilets had a very bad smell. There was no ventilation inside and no air freshener.
3) Access is through a VW dealership. Go through the road into the dealership and turn left at the T intersection. The signs could have been a bit cleare
Overall, a great place to visit for a few hours especially on a cold or wet day.Written October 18, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is well maintained, and it is surrounded by attractive flower gardens, which change with the seasons. The Ringwood Clock Tower is adjacent to Eastland Shopping Center. - platypus150Melbourne, Australia33,168 contributionsWalking or cycling along this Trail is easy. It is well made and very flat. It travels through a number of parks, which offer toilets and bring you close to shops and connecting roads. There are many bird species along the way and some interesting vegetation, especially in the Town Park in Croydon.Written July 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tracey BMelbourne, Australia328 contributionsWhat a find, in an out of the way industrial location. I travelled from country Victoria to Ringwood on a Sunday in advance of an event here on Monday. Retired hubby kindly accompanied me, and did all the driving, so I looked for a nearby brewery as his reward. We arrived shortly after 2pm and it was quiet, but by 3pm the local regulars were rolling in. The vibe was very special. Beers were very good. Wine was nice. Fries were yummy. Staff were great. Highly recommended.Written November 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Jeffry bEssendon, Australia13,734 contributionsThis collection of parks and sporting grounds is now back in use, following the end of the Covid lockdown. It is certainly an asset to Ringwood and the surrounding area, it's one of the largest sporting complexes in suburban Melbourne. Apart from anything else, the park hosts AFL football, soccer, tennis, cricket and swimming. There's also BBQs and toilets. Parking is usually ample.Written January 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
