What travellers are saying
- alohatripperHonolulu, HI1,484 contributionsCelorico is where our guide's father was from. Besides being well-known for castle ruins, it is a quiet town not overrun by tourists.
It's worth a stop between Aveiro and Salamanca, Spain.Written June 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Spendid opportunities for strolls and exploration. The shop is just a delight. Not large but with a fine range of local wines, cheeses and meats it is just a delight. The sheep cheeses are the speciality. Do not miss it!Written April 1, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - alohatripperHonolulu, HI1,484 contributionsOur guide, Jorge, knew about this obscure but excellent stop to enjoy the locally made cheese, together with wine and bread. For a mere 6E pp, we had an enjoyable and educational tour of the museum before we entered the large tasting room. The tables had unusual chairs, handmade logs with cutouts for sitting. They were massive but stable.
The commentary was in Portuguese, but Jorge translated. The cheese is called "serra do Estrella. Yummy!Written June 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
