NaFilM: National film museum
#1 of 345 Museums in Prague
You will find out a lot about film prehistory, but in contrast to traditional museums, all exposed objects are replicas of real historical instruments, they were made just for this occasion.
One of the most well designed and interactive museums I've visited
National Memorial to the Heroes of the Heydrich Terror
#2 of 345 Museums in Prague
In a city full of churches, galleries, museums and concert halls, what a surprise for us to find that a small crypt would be THE most memorable place for us during our stay in Prague.
I would highly recommend a visit to the church and crypt its free of charge, but leave a donation, the time line in the museum is very informative, and a vist to the crypt is very moving.

National Technical Museum
#5 of 345 Museums in Prague
This is quite a special museum because it is actually a combination of a lot of different museums, all related to technology.
The visit to the National Technical Museum was a great experience - especially the part where the cars, bikes, motorbikes, planes were exhibited as well as home appliances, history of photography, etc.

Convent of St Agnes of Bohemia

This is one of the better art museums around, and gives a fascinating view about the ideas and culture in the Middle Ages.
Because this is part of the National Gallery, an admission ticket also allows you to visit the permanent exhibits at five other museums.

Kbely Aviation Museum
#10 of 345 Museums in Prague
My pilot hubby loved this museum so much we went through twice but I also thoroughly enjoyed it & after visiting most of the Aviation museums around the world, this would have to be one of the best I've also been to.
A very enjoyable visit to a facinating aircraft museum The Kbely Aviation Museum is located at Prague's original airport at Kbely, 8 km (5.0 mi) north-east of the town centre near Route 10 (E.14).

Chocotopia: Wax museum of legends by Grevin
#16 of 345 Museums in Prague
It’s like a very good wax museum, with very realistic celebrities, and it’s really cool that you can touch exhibits and it’s ok, but it is strictly prohibited in most museums.
... was a young blonde girl that works there that kept on popping on each floor and always very polite and helpfull :) ) Very entertaining and interactive museum with some funny and crazy surprises along the way.

Great museum a litte bit hidden in the end of Hrandczany area. it isin't big, it's enough about 30 minutes to see whole exhibition, but for sure it's worth to visit.
Fantastic museum to combine with your monastery visit.
Karel Zeman Museum
#18 of 345 Museums in Prague
This is a great break from traditional art/history museums, which can begin to feel the same after a while.
Within the museum is a nice blend of information about Karel Zeman and how he created his special effects, as well as interactive exhibits that allow you to recreate some of those effects.
DOX Centre for Contemporary Art

Regardless of the fact that this enormous museum is located outside the city centre, it is a treasure cove.
The book and design store inside the museum is definitely worth a visit as well.

While the museum is small and can be completely visited within an hour or slightly longer, it provides an excellent overview of the history of Apple, and well-preserved examples of Apple's many hardware devices.

Schwarzenberg Palace
#26 of 345 Museums in Prague
The museum was almost deserted when I visited in May, despite the crowds of tourists outside, so it was very quiet and peaceful compared with, for example, the National Gallery in London!.
This building now houses a Baroque and Renaissance period paintings and sculpture museum.
