An extremely interesting place to visit There are memorials and sculptures around every corner and the history of the park is fascinating.
Spent a few hours walking around citadel park, lots of cool sculptures & old war architecture & equipment ,be a really cool place to spend time in the summer months, well worth a visit

We found it a fairly easy walk to get to the zoo - about half an hour from the Old Town, across the river with interesting vistas as you walk over the bridge and then through a pleasant park area to the Zoo entrance.
The parks and playgrounds inside are bountiful and there are many refreshment options.

The Park is huge and the grounds are well kept with many interesting features and statues and there is plenty of wildlife running and flying about.
Nice to watch the squirrels and other wildlife like ducks, etc. Nice for nature photos and relaxing.

Skaryszewski the park is a small green oasis in Praga that is one of the most beautiful parks in the Polish capital, Ideal locations for a picnic or a stroll away from the bustle of downtown.

My favorite park in Poznan with a long history back, has a little open concert hall and connects to the Poznan Greenhouse.
In the Wilson park there is an old band- shell, monuments, fountain with big underground operation rooms, old bushes and trees.

It is the oldest garden, created in 1818, located at Ujazdowskie Alley between Łazienki Park and Agrykola Street, and has kept the charm and atmosphere of the old days.

I wouldn't recommend it for swimming (though the water quality might have changed now), but if you're staying nearby they've great running tracs, places to go grill or simply enjoy nature.
