You can either walk up to the Buda Hills or go with the Libego which already gives you nice views of Budapest.There are several nice walks through the forest with lovely autumn colours.
Climbing to the top we were rewarded with a fantastic view of Budda Hills to Danube to Pest.

My husband and I found Vaci Street to be the best landmark on the Pest side to find our way around as it’s quite central and spans several blocks so we always found our way around on foot.
There are many őplaces to shop, eat and drink, but you can just amble along and take in the sights.
