It is famous for marzipan and we purchased some along with several boxes of chocolates for ourselves and as gifts. The sweet shop is an absolute delight and highly recommend that you visit! She is an encyclopedia of knowledge gained from her travels to the important cider regions of the world. I enjoyed my conversation with her and she taught me about unique cider apples which we don’t get back in Canada and how the various climates around Europe affect the types of apples which grow in the region and the resulting style of cider that those places before famous for.
