- Paul HBournemouth, UK1,765 contributionsIf you go to Tallinn, you will end up passing through or by the square several times during your visit as it is so central to the Old Town. The main feature in the square in the Town Hall. A hive of activity in the evening, mainly with the restaurants and their outdoor seating. For photos, I found just before sunrise the best time to go as the street lights and the flood lights are still on.Written September 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - martin LSheffield, UK31 contributionsA small orthodox Russian church mainly for locals but free to visit. Inside, and there are pictures of icon and saints. Please be respectful. For example , remove hats if you wear a cap like me. Check for opening hours. The area around the church is almost empty in the evening, which offers an enchanting experience.Written October 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul OCounty Monaghan, Ireland5,987 contributionsTram # 1 will take you from the old town centre and drop you at edge of Kadriorg park which is very nice to walk through. The museum itself is an enjoyable and well laid out art museum. A mixture of permanent Estonian art works and international exhibitions. Tallinn card works here.Written November 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dave CNorth Walsham, UK7 contributionsI've been to the Teletorn twice: once during the day and once in the evening (for a discounted price). In the evenings, the exhibitions and shop are closed, and you don't get a free welcome drink as promised. During the day, everything is open and the experience is far more enjoyable.Written August 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stefanie HLincoln, NE1,745 contributionsTallinn has a wonderfully preserved series of medieval towers and walls, and they are all very easy to find in the historic center. The entry into the center takes you through a beautiful set of walls, along with the Fat Margaret tower. Highly recommend a walk along the walls!Written July 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JessWales, UK344 contributionsThe church itself was fine, but climbing to the tower was really scary! It's narrow and really tall, but the views at the top are amazing. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is scared of heights! You also need a good level of fitness to get up all of the steps! The view is worth it though!Written October 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Owen RSydney, Australia431 contributionsBeautiful walk around Kadriorg Palace and the surrounding parklands - all free. About a 30 min walk from the Old Town in Tallinn, and about 10 mins walk from the cost. Beautiful gardens and architecture.Written September 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Paul HBournemouth, UK1,765 contributionsI went there at 05:30 in the morning to have it to myself, so I could photograph it with the streetlights still on. That is because in the evenings the restaurants on the street are open a little late, or many people are passing by.Written September 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Once you get to the market and big crazy bus it’s very quiet and feels a bit off but keep walking to the best area with lots of art shops, thrift shops and places to eat/drink. Great place to spend a couple of hours.Written June 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Beatriz MDüsseldorf, Germany5,677 contributionsMust see not only the Pirita beach but also the ruins of the church which are basically in front of the beach, it is like a 5 min walk. We arrived there using the bus from the center of Tallinn. It was very easy and fast, ticket costs 1.50 for non residents and can be paid with any contact less card like VISA Mastercard on bus (usually the first validating machine in entrance of the bus).Written April 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
