- Paul OCounty Monaghan, Ireland5,963 contributionsThe Seaplane Harbour Museum (Lennusadam) is a top class modern museum and our favourite attraction fromTallinn. It is interactive and informative but the undoubted highlight is entering the “Lembit” submarine. This submarine was made for Estonian by Britain in the mid 1930s. It became an active part of the Soviet fleet during WW2. You can enter and walk around. A fascinating visit.

Please be respectful. For example , remove hats if you wear a cap like me. Check for opening hours. The area around the church is almost empty in the evening, which offers an enchanting experience.Written October 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JessWales, UK344 contributionsThis place is definitely worth a visit. It's not very big at all and will only take around an hour, but the stories are very interesting, especially if you're interested in soviet history. It's a little overpriced but the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.Written October 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul OCounty Monaghan, Ireland5,963 contributionsTram # 1 will take you from the old town centre and drop you at edge of Kadriorg park which is very nice to walk through. The museum itself is an enjoyable and well laid out art museum. A mixture of permanent Estonian art works and international exhibitions. Tallinn card works here.Written November 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JessWales, UK344 contributionsThere is plenty to see here on many different floors and towers. Unfortunately the cafe was closed but it looked lovely. The highlight for me was the tunnels. It was a little scary but so interesting to see all of the different uses they have had. This is worth a visit, especially if you have the Tallinn card.Written October 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HockeyboyDesborough, UK299 contributionsNice enough market. Easy to find. Brew pub was fine and the deli/coffee shop very nice. It’s cash only in some parts so take a few euros.Written October 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Owen RSydney, Australia432 contributionsBeautiful walk around Kadriorg Palace and the surrounding parklands - all free. About a 30 min walk from the Old Town in Tallinn, and about 10 mins walk from the cost. Beautiful gardens and architecture.Written September 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Once you get to the market and big crazy bus it’s very quiet and feels a bit off but keep walking to the best area with lots of art shops, thrift shops and places to eat/drink. Great place to spend a couple of hours.Written June 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ian A81 contributionsThis museum is absolutely fascinating. All about the human body from being born death. Each room had exhibits of each organ, bone, tissues. Even had body parts in what I thought was Formaldehyde just like they do for Medical Students. The games and quizzes were very informative and educational.
I would recommend this museum to everyone including families with young children.Written September 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is also a museum and viewing platform here. We took in some of the recital, had a quick look around museum and then went up the lift to the (indoor)viewing platform on the top floor. Again more nice views of the city.

It really does a great job of covering all of Estonian maritime history, with exhibits in English. If you go all the way up, there is a cafe on the roof, as well as an observation deck. We could have spent much longer in this museum! That being said, the tickets are overpriced.Written July 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Tasty and clean and not to much que. Italian Tavolata was also a good dinner. Shops on board was ok and entertainment quite typical piano music, trubadur and band at night.
