- alina09marusKyiv, Ukraine6 contributionsOld Tallinn fascinates with its medieval atmosphere! Narrow streets, old buildings, charming cafes and incredible views from the towers - every step is filled with history and beauty.Written September 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - B KGurugram (Gurgaon), India186 contributionsThe Town Square is like the heart of the Old Town. Surrounded by beautiful al- fresco restaurants on all sides, it has a very picturesque setting. The centre if square has many different types of free seating. In beautiful weather, its fun to just laze around and soak in the ambience. Many streets lead to and from this square. There's an old town hall building too which we didnt visit from inside but it has a very interesting spire.Written July 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ian A61 contributionsThis is a most beautiful park. The park has everything and the flowers are beautiful with complimentary colours. It's a great place to spend a day relaxing.Written September 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dave CNorth Walsham, UK7 contributionsI've been to the Teletorn twice: once during the day and once in the evening (for a discounted price). In the evenings, the exhibitions and shop are closed, and you don't get a free welcome drink as promised. During the day, everything is open and the experience is far more enjoyable.Written August 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jbg74Saint Paul, MN1,094 contributionsThis is a must visit site in Tallinn if you can climb the tower stairs. Â The view from the top is incredible. Â It will definitely get to anyone afraid of heights as the top is a narrow walkway around the outside of the copper spire on top of the roof. Â These are some of the best city views from a church bell tower in all of Europe. Â I climb lots of bell towers and this one is one of my top three.Written September 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - nidriksDorset, UK168 contributionsI visited the palace and gardens on my first day in Tallinn. The museum has some wonderful works of art and was a pleasure to wonder.
There was a helpful security guard that helped guide me to the lockers for my bags. Language was a bit of a barrier but he did good. I have to say I felt a little uncomfortable when getting my ticket for the gallery as the woman serving seemed quite short and unimpressed with me. It left me wondering if language would be a huge barrier for my trip to Tallinn. It was a nice little visit though and the gardens are really nice for a wander after.
I am pleased to say that much of Tallinn, over my three days in the city, made up for any bad vibes from day one.Written August 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's bound to have a charm for history buffs. The stone walls and the paved streets look like you have walked into period era.Written July 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We arrived there using the bus from the center of Tallinn. It was very easy and fast, ticket costs 1.50 for non residents and can be paid with any contact less card like VISA Mastercard on bus (usually the first validating machine in entrance of the bus).Written April 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CristinelRomania1,274 contributionsRottermann Quarter was the first one seen in Tallinn, coming from the port.
Very interesting and attractive neighborhood, surprisingly mixing the old with the new. We liked the factory and warehouse aesthetic of the buildings while they are modern shopping centers, restaurants and cafes.
Very cool area to walk around.Written August 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Coming from ferry port and passing Rottermann Quarter you’ll be surprised by the change from new to old in couple a minutes and meters.
Anyway, Viru Gates give you a nice “welcome” to the Old City and you cannot miss a selfie here.Written September 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You will want to stroll here and look into the shops, and some of them have quality merchandise. You will also find places to eat and drink.Written July 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- TavisAngmering, UK44 contributionsA good botanical gardens with some lovely areas and a palm house, although at the time of our visit some areas were under construction and unavailable. A few of the other areas also appeared to have been very recently planted, so were not well established, although were still nice for a wander around and the gardens were a good spot for a picnic. It's worthwhile combining a visit with the adjacent TV tower (a combo ticket was available)Written August 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
