Free parking and discounts available - I was given free admission as military. Your house experience is self-guided with docents strategically placed throughout for questions. All extremely friendly. There is also a 20-minute driving tour around the estate operated by staff (max is 18 per so get there early or expect to wait in line).

I enjoyed running a few miles on the trails here during a beautiful morning. There is a water fountain at the entrance, and I located two different areas with portable toilets. Be warned that there are signs warning against poison ivy and ticks, and I did encounter a lot of insects that bite and a snake on the trail, but this is nature at its best! I had a great time outdoors on this beautiful day here!

Bigger than you think with lots of things crammed into the space. Lots of aircraft both inside and outside. Heavy focus on WWII (which is really cool). Two free flight simulators with amazing volunteers assisting. There are some outdoor aircraft you can walk into when it's under 90 degrees outside. The multiple volunteers throughout the museum truely transform the museum from static displays to living stories. If you have a WWII buff, a history nerd, or an airplane entusiast in your party, plan for a long stay! Thank you for the awesome visit!!

I loved the park. Thrasher's is good, not too crowded, and the rides were fun but in a small perimeter. There were rides for all ages.

It would be nice if Rehoboth Beach Delaware had a dinner cruise in one of their bays. It would be excellent for business. I wish the city of Rehoboth Beach would consider this idea

This boardwalk is such a great traditional American boardwalk that reminds me of the boardwalks I visited as a child! There are so many great shops, souvenirs, games, food, desserts, cocktails, and resting spots to choose from! Any family that visits is bound to make great lasting memories here!

I have been coming to Bethany beach since I was just a few months old. Each year, it’s something I look forward to and it never disappoints. From the beautiful ocean to the wonderful beach and boardwalk, Bethany Beach is one for the books. The beach is mid-size, not to big, not to small, just perfect.

My husband and I absolutely love this place. We travel from NJ a few times a year, trying to hit every season because every season holds reveals a different array of flowers. We love the team tour which gives all of the highlights and history of the mansion and surrounding grounds. Louise is the absolute best tour guide. She has such a personality and passion, and is a bubbling spring of information. The mansion tour is self-guided but has historians available to answer questions in almost every room of the tour. The museum has various presentations; it’s different almost every time we come. We also appreciate the air conditioned shuttle (especially when it’s very hot) which drops and picks up at various spots throughout the day. Gifts shop and cafe are on site as well Everyone is pleasant and helpful. We would recommend Winterthur for all ages as there is an enchanted fairy garden for the children that young and old alike will love.

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the different areas on this 225 acre Estate and gunpowder mill. So much history and great demonstrations that really helped me understand how things worked during the time the mill was operational. I was amazed that everything works and looks great and was used from 1803 to 1958. We did a walking tour with Susan which included the powder yards. So much interesting information and it was great being able to ask questions. Take the tour. The docents in the house were all so helpful and friendly. We were there 4 hours so you know we really liked our visit to Hagley.

It was a good beach experience. My grandsons loved it! It was great for them since they are small and there weren't too many waves. They could go out pretty far. It was just too hot out, but that wasn't the beaches fault.
